Claims (12)

  1. PAT E N T K RAV
    1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et bananekstrakt omfattende følgende trin: kombination af en frugtkerne fra en plante fra familien Musaceae, hvor frugtkernen er i det væsentlige fri for: frugtskallen, frugtenderne og eventuelle misfarvninger eller stødskader, med destilleret vand; blanding af frugten og det destillerede vand i en processor for dannelse afen jævn blanding; opdeling af den blandede frugt og destillerede vand i en supernatant og et sediment, hvor sedimentet bortkastes, og supernatanten viderebearbejdes; sterilisering af supernatanten; eventuelt udførelse af en anden separering af den steriliserede supernatant for fjernelse af eventuelt udskilt sediment eller affald; og klaring af en steriliserede supernatant ved membranfiltrering med en planfolie-eller hulfibermembran, rørformet membran, spiralviklet, hulfiber, tryksat, neddykket eller keramisk filtreringsproces med en molekylær cut-off på 1000 Dalton.
  2. 2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor fremgangsmåden yderligere omfatter de eventuelle trin med: bearbejdning af ekstraktet med den ene eller flere aktive komponenter med en eller flere teknikker valgt blandt frysetørring, vakuumcentrifugering, spraytørring eller vilkårlige kombinationer deraf.
  3. 3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, omfattende udførelse af en eller flere analytiske test eller kemiske analysetest på planteekstraktet, hvor i det mindste en af testene er valgt fra gruppen bestående af sukkerprofil, fugtindhold, vitamin A-analyse, råprotein-estimering, fuldstændig mineralanalyse, ikke-proteinnitrogen (NPN) ækvivalent med protein, Brix indeks, specifik vægtfylde, vitamin C, råfiberanalyse, pH, fedtsyresammensætning ved GC-analyse, og vilkårlige kombinationer deraf.
  4. 4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2 eller 3, hvor frugten modnes og derefter fryses før bearbejdning.
  5. 5. Sammensætning omfattende bananekstraktet, som kan opnås ved fremgangsmåden ifølge ethvert af kravene 1-4.
  6. 6. Sammensætning ifølge krav 5, hvor sammensætningen tilføres et vækstmedie med en koncentration liggende fra 0,01 %-15%, 0,5%-10%, eller en 1%-5%.
  7. 7. Fremgangsmåde til at fremme eller øge kimdannelse, vækst, viabilitet, udbytte, metabolitproduktion eller vilkårlige kombinationer deraf, for en eller flere mikroorganismer omfattende følgende trin: tilvejebringelse af et fermenterings- eller vækstmedie til dyrkning eller vækst af den ene eller flere mikroorganismer; tilføjelse af et inoculum af sporer af den ene eller flere mikroorganismer, som har behov for en fremme eller forbedring af kimdannelse, vækst, viabilitet, udbytte, metabolitproduktion eller vilkårlige kombinationer deraf, hvor inoculumet omfatter den ene eller flere mikroorganismer i en latens fase eller en eksponentiel fase for en mikrobiel vækstcyklus; og tilføjelse af en sammensætning i overensstemmelse med krav 5 eller 6, hvor sammensætningen kan tilføjes til vækstmediet, før tilføjelse af inoculumet eller sporerne, eller periodisk under en eksponentiel eller stationær fase for den mikrobielle vækstcyklus.
  8. 8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7, hvor fremgangsmåden yderligere omfatter trinene med: overvågning af væksten af den ene eller flere mikroorganismer over faserne af den mikrobielle vækstcyklus; og høstning af den ene eller flere mikroorganismer, når en ønsket vækst, viabilitet eller udbytte er opnået, et ønsket niveau af metabolitproduktion er opnået, en dødsfase for den mikrobielle vækstcyklus er nået, eller vilkårlige kombinationer deraf.
  9. 9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 7 eller 8, hvor mikroorganismerne omfatter bakterier, gær, svampe eller vilkårlige kombinationer deraf.
  10. 10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, hvor mikroorganismerne omfatter bakterier valgt blandt grampositive bakterier, gramnegative bakterier, mælkesyrebakterier, aerobe bakterier, anaerobe bakterier eller vilkårlige kombinationer deraf.
  11. 11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, hvor mikroorganismerne omfatter bakterier valgt blandt en eller flere bakterier hørende til en slægt Bacillus valgt fra gruppen bestående af Bacillus thuringiensis, Bacillus coagulans, Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amylolique-faciens, Bacillus licheniformis og vilkårlige kombinationer deraf.
  12. 12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 7-11, hvor vækstmediet omfatter nutrient broth (NB), Nutrient agar (NA), Luria-Bertani broth (LB), Mueller-Hinton kation-justeret broth (ΜΗ), en sporulations-broth, eosin-methylenblåt-agar (EMB), gær og skimmel (YM), blodagar, MacConkey agar, Hektoen enterisk agar (HE), mannitosalt-agar (MSA), Terrific Broth (TB), xyloselysindeoxycholat (XLD), RPMI-1640-medie, minimalt-baseret medie, molasse-baseret medie, bufferet aktivkul-gærekstraktagar, eller vilkårlige kombinationer eller modifikationer deraf.
