Claims (15)
1. Kredsløb der omfatter: en spændingskilde; en lysemitterende diode (LED), der har et minimalt intensitetsniveau tilknyttet dertil, hvor det minimale intensitetsniveau korrelerer med et LED temperatursætpunkt; en termisk sensor i nærheden af LED'en og indrettet til at måle en temperatur nær LED'en; en strømregulator virksomt sammenkoblet med spændingskilden, den termiske sensor og LED'en; hvor der i respons til en målt temperatur, som er større end det forudbestemte LED temperatursætpunkt, øges strømmen der forsynes til LED'en, og hvor en LED belysningsintensitet ikke er mindre end det minimale intensitetsniveau ved det forøgede strømniveau.
2. Kredsløbet ifølge krav 1 hvor: den termiske sensor omfatter en afbryder indrettet til at aktivere i respons til at temperatursætpunktet overskrides; og at aktiveringen resulterer i overførslen af et signal til strømregulatoren.
3. Kredsløbet ifølge krav 1 hvor den termiske sensor omfatter en modstandsprogrammerbar SOT temperaturafbryder.
4. Kredsløbet ifølge krav 1 hvor den termiske sensor er placeret tilstødende til et LED-forbindelsespunkt af LED'en, og/eller hvor den termiske sensor måler en LED-forbindelsespunkttemperatur.
5. Kredsløbet ifølge krav 1 hvor kredsløbet omfatter flere LED'er, og fortrinsvis hvor den termiske sensor er placeret i nærheden af de flere LED'er og måler en temperatur nær de flere LED'er.
6. Kredsløbet ifølge krav 5 der omfatter: flere termiske sensorer; og hvor hver af de flere termiske sensorer er placeret nær en LED af de flere LED'er, og måler en temperatur nær LED'en.
7. Kredsløbet ifølge krav 1 hvor spændingskilden er et batteri, og/eller hvor strømregulatoren omfatter et potentiometer.
8. Fremgangsmåde der omfatter: at måle en temperatur nær en LED ved hjælp af en termisk sensor; at bestemme om den målte temperatur overskrider et temperatursætpunkt, der korrelerer med et minimalt intensitetsniveau af LED'en; og at øge strømmen, der forsynes til LED'en i respons til bestemmelsen, at den målte temperatur overskrider temperatursætpunktet.
9. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8 hvor trinnene i krav 8 gentages, hvis det bestemmes, at den målte temperatur ikke er højere end temperatursætpunktet.
10. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8 hvor trinnet at øge strømmen omfatter: at overføre et første signal fra den termiske sensor til en strømregulator; og at overføre et andet signal fra strømregulatoren til en spændingskilde i respons til det første signal.
11. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8 hvor trinnet at øge strømmen resulterer i en LED belysningsintensitet, der ikke er mindre end minimal intensitetsniveauet.
12. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8 hvor den forøgede strøm er i området omkring 260 mA til omkring 330 mA.
13. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 11 hvor trinnet at øge strømmen omfatter at øge spændingen, der forsyner spændingskilden af et kredsløb tilknyttet LED'en, og/eller hvor trinnet at øge strømmen omfatter, at reducere modstanden af et kredsløb tilknyttet LED'en.
14. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8 hvor trinnet at måle omfatter, at den termiske sensor måler en LED-forbindelsespunkttemperatur.
15. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 8 hvor trinnet at bestemme udføres ved hjælp af den termiske sensor.
