Claims (17)
- PATENTKRAV1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en granuleret biomasse med en overvejende andel (>50%) af partikelstørrelser af 100 til 2500 mikrometer i diameter, hvilken biomasse omfatter et værdifuldt oxidationsfølsomt materiale, såsom et lipid, fortrinsvis en umættet fedtsyre, en flerumættet fedtsyre (PUFA) eller en højt umættet fedtsyre (HUFA), hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter trinnene: tilvejebringelse af en partikelformig udgangsbiomasse behandlet uden forudgående cellenedbrydning, hvilken udgangsbiomasse har et resterende fugtighedsindhold af højst 10 vægt% og en overvejende andel (>50%) af partikelstørrelser af 20 til 100 mikrometer i diameter og udsættelse af udgangsbiomassen for en granuleringsmetode i nærvær af et agglomereringshjælpemiddel.
- 2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1,kendetegnet ved, at kulhydrater, især modificerede polysaccharider, anvendes som agglomereringshjælpemiddel.
- 3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, kendetegnet ved, at guaran, arabisk gummi, guargummi, johannesbrødgummi, xanthangummi, agar, carrageenan, en maltodextrin, stivelse, især majsstivelse, tapiokastivelse eller kartoffelstivelse, cellulose eller derivater deraf, hemicellulose eller derivater deraf, alginsyre eller maltodextrin eller blandinger deraf anvendes som agglomereringshjælpemiddel.
- 4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, kendetegnet ved, at modificeret cellulose, især carboxymethylcellulose og/eller hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, eller en maltodextrin eller blandinger deraf anvendes som agglomereringshjælpemiddel.
- 5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at proteiner anvendes som agglomereringshjælpem iddel, især casein, gelatine, kollagen, hvedegluten eller blandinger deraf.
- 6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at organiske polymerer anvendes som agglomereringshjælpemiddel, især lignosulfonat, polymethylolcarbamider, polyacrylsyrer eller polyvinylalkoholer eller blandinger deraf.
- 7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at uorganiske stoffer anvendes som agglomereringshjælpemidler, især silikater, fortrinsvis bentonitter, hexametaphosphat eller blandinger deraf.
- 8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at den partikelformige udgangsbiomasse er opnået ved spraytørring af en gæringsvæske indeholdende biomassen.
- 9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at biomassen omfatter celler af den taksonomiske gruppe Labyrinthulomycetes, især dem af familien Thraustochytriaceae, især fortrinsvis fra slægterne Thraustochytrium, Schizochytrium, Aurantiochytrium, Oblongichytrium eller Ulkenia, især fra Aurantiochytrium slægten.
- 10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et af de foregående krav, kendetegnet ved, at det værdifulde oxidationsfølsomme materiale er PUFAs, fortrinsvis omega-3-fedtsyrer, især fortrinsvis DHA.
- 11. Granuleret biomasse fremstillet af fermenterede celler behandlet uden forudgående cellenedbrydning, hvilke celler omfatter et værdifuldt oxidationsfølsomt materiale valgt blandt en umættet fedtsyre, en flerumættet fedtsyre (PUFA) eller en højt umættet fedtsyre (HUFA), kendetegnet ved at den omfatter et agglomereringshjælpemiddel i en mængde af 0,05 til 6 vægt%, især 0,1 til 5 vægt%, især fortrinsvis 0,4 til 4 vægt%, og ved at den granulerede biomasse har en overvejende andel (>50 %) af partikelstørrelser af 100 til 2500 mikrometer i diameter.
- 12. Granuleret biomasse ifølge krav 11, kendetegnet ved, at agglomereringshjælpemidlet er et kulhydrat eller et modificeret kulhydrat, fortrinsvis en modificeret cellulose, især fortrinsvis carboxymethylcellulose eller hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, eller en maltodextrin eller blandinger deraf.
- 13. Granuleret biomasse ifølge krav 11 eller 12, kendetegnet ved, at den omfatter et hydrofilt eller hydrofobt silikat i en mængde af 0,05 til 6 vægt%, fortrinsvis 0,1 til 5 vægt%.
- 14. Granuleret biomasse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 11 til13, kendetegnet ved, at mindst 80 vægt%, især mindst 90 vægt%, fortrinsvis mindst 95 vægt%, af partiklerne har en partikeldiameter (kornstørrelse) af fra 100 til 2000 μm, fortrinsvis 100 til 1500 μm, især fortrinsvis 100 til 1000 μm.
- 15. Granuleret biomasse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 11 til14, kendetegnet ved, at den omfatter celler af den taksonomiske gruppe Labyrinthulomycetes, især dem af familien Thraustochytriaceae, især fortrinsvis fra slægterne Thraustochytrium, Schizochytrium, Aurantiochytrium eller Oblongichytrium, især fra slægten Aurantiochytrium, især fra arten Aurantiochytrium limacinum.
- 16. Granuleret biomasse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 11 til15, kendetegnet ved, at det værdifulde oxidationsfølsomme materiale er PUFAs, fortrinsvis omega-3-fedtsyrer, især fortrinsvis DHA.
- 17. Foderstof eller levnedsmiddel omfattende en granuleret biomasse ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 11 til 16.
