Abstract
The device has a drive axle connected with a drive tandem axle (16) by a ball ramps device with ball ramp plates (22, 24), where a controlling pressure (P1) is produced by axial movement of the plate (24). A control valve (34) controls height of a system pressure depending on the pressure (P1), where a resulting pressure (P2) controls a compensation device to achieve equalization moment working against setting effect of the axle (16). An independent claim is also included for a method for stepless adjustment of setting of a drive tandem axle of a vehicle or a self-propelled processing machine.
