Diese Elektroden bestehen im allgemeinen aus glatten Blechen, so daß die Feldlinien zwischen ihnen normal verlaufen, d. h. ein homogenes elektrisches Feld vorhanden ist. Es wurde nun gefunden, daß der Kläreffekt wesentlich gesteigert werden kann, wenn das elektrische Feld zwischen den Elektroden stellenweise verstärkt wird.
