The invention relates to a container for dispensing small, quantifiable amounts of oil in self-service operations in sales outlets, in particular at petrol stations, comprising a pressure vessel with a compressed air connection, content display and dispensing line and in particular to a movable container of this type.

The sale of loose oil is becoming increasingly necessary for petrol stations and other sales outlets in order to avoid packaging waste (Section 1 of the Packaging Ordinance, etc.).

For this purpose, engine oil dispensing machines have been developed that are designed for self-service operation and fill oil into specific reusable bottles or cans in a calibrated manner. The disadvantage of these devices is the high purchase costs and, in the case of devices that are set up outdoors, the stationary installation, which constantly exposes the device to the weather and possible vandalism.

The aim of the invention is to remedy these disadvantages, namely to provide a significantly more cost-effective oil dispensing device for the calibration-compliant dispensing of loose engine oil in

to create reusable containers in self-service operations.

This is achieved by a piston measuring tool in the discharge line of the pressure vessel. With the help of the piston measuring tool, a predetermined amount of oil is removed from the pressure vessel based on the excess pressure. By operating the drain valve, this calibrated amount of oil is discharged via the discharge line into a container or directly into the engine of a motor vehicle.

The oil dispensing device according to the invention is a compact device, it essentially consists of the pressure vessel, which can be moved using suitable means and on which these additional devices, such as the piston measuring tool and drain valve, are located. It is only necessary to keep the pressure vessel under pressure and to ensure with the help of a control system that authorized persons can remove the desired amounts of oil. This can be done via a control system with the help of drop-in tokens and the like, it can just as easily be done under the supervision of the gas station staff.

In any case, no other energy source is required apart from compressed air to fill any supply containers. Due to its mobility, the device can be used anywhere where a compressed air source is available, and it is also possible to safely store the dispenser in a hall after the company closes.

The invention is explained below by way of example with reference to the drawing.

The only figure in the drawing shows a diagrammatic view of the individual parts of a movable container for oil dispensing according to the invention.

In the figure, 10 designates a pressure vessel which is connected to a compressed air source via a compressed air line 11, either permanently in stationary operation or with the aid of suitable couplings in the usually intended movable operation.

There is a float 15 inside the container and a content indicator 14 on the outside. At the same time, a suction lance 13 is also provided, which can be used by the petrol station staff for filling if necessary.

The discharge line 12 from the pressure vessel 10 leads to a 3/2-way valve 21. A piston measuring tool 20 is connected to the outlet of this valve 21. The filling of the piston measuring tool is initiated via a starter, line 22. The discharge line 12 therefore leads via the valve 21 into the interior of the piston measuring tool 20 and in turn via the valve 21 to the second part of the discharge line 12 to a drain valve 24 and finally to a measuring limit valve 25, from which oil can be discharged.

In the normal state, the pressure vessel 10 is under a suitable internal pressure, so that when the valve 21 is opened, this internal pressure ensures that a certain amount of oil enters the piston measuring tool 20 via the line 12, the valve 21. When the interior of the piston measuring tool 20 is filled with a calibrated amount of oil (for example 0.5 or 1.0 1), the valve 21 is switched so that

Oil can flow to the still closed drain valve 24. The drain valve 24 is operated manually or automatically by the authorized person. When the drain valve 24 is open, the oil flows from the interior of the piston measuring tool 20 via the discharge line 12 to the measuring limit valve 25 and from there into the supply container attached there.
