Vorteilhaft kann der Etikettenträger z.B. an einem Gürtel oder dgl. befestigt werden, der dann dem Kind umgelegt wird. Auf diese Weise ist der Etikettenträger am Kind fixiert und jederzeit zugänglich. Auf dem Etikett kann dann z.B. der Name des Kindes und dessen Adresse und die Telefonnummer eingetragen werden. Es können aber auch andere Informationen, z.B. die Adresse eines Kindergartens, einer Schule, von Pflegeeltern oder dgl. eingetragen werden.
