Abstract

The invention concerns a disposable duster consisting of a piece of a dry natural fibre fabric consisting of a light to white coloured soft open-pored paper as the absorbent cellulose material with less than 10 % filler which is impregnated with wax which is biodegradable and is hard enough to prevent the erosion of the natural fibre fabric. The wax should be a natural one of vegetable or animal origin, preferably a carnauba or beeswax, or a synthetic or chemically modified wax, preferably a paraffin, an oxidised polyethylene wax or a hydrated jojoba oil.
