Sobald die im Hauptabflußrohr oben gelegene Filtersiebplatte sich hinreichend mit darauf sich ablagernden Abfallstoffen beladen hat, kann sie beispielsweise über eine von Hand zu betätigende Zugleine um 90° gekippt werden, so daß die Abfallstoffe von ihr abfallen und in das darunter gelegene Feinzerkleinerungsmahlwerk gelangen, in welchem die Abfallstoffe zu Brei oder Flüssigkeit fein zermahlen werden und dann unbehindert durch die ortsfeste Abflußleitung in den Abwasserkanal gelangen können.
