Transport containers with wire mesh walls, rigid or collapsible, e.g. Euro mesh boxes are well known. The wire mesh is usually welded into angle frames. For many transport purposes, these mesh walls have the disadvantage that the transported goods can be damaged due to the high specific load on the wires. For this reason, plastic linings have been attached to the inner wall of the containers. These plastic walls are attached using metal hooks that are riveted and hooked into the wires. This method has the disadvantage that it is very complex and uneconomical. Furthermore, at the location of the rivet, the head of which has to be quite large due to the risk of it coming loose, there is a chafing point that can damage the transported goods. Special tools are also required for riveting.
The inventor has made it his mission to eliminate these disadvantages. For this reason, he suggests fastening the plastic panels with cable ties. These can be made of metal. In this case, however, plastic is particularly suitable. To increase strength, this plastic cable tie could be provided with a metal core or with one made of another tear-resistant material, such as fiberglass. This makes it possible to use simple means to achieve an economical, quickly renewable and gentle fastening of the plastic panels to the wire mesh.
Fig. 1 zeigt perspektivisch eine solche Drahtgitterwand (1). Dies ist realisiert über Kabelbinder (5) .Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of such a wire mesh wall (1). The wire mesh (3) is attached to an angle frame (2) and the plastic plate (4) is attached to this. This is achieved using cable ties (5).
