in bekannter Weise
When manufacturing the tables according to patent 808 149, special machines are required, which are usually only available in larger table factories. From the point of view of being able to manufacture the new tables with normal, simple woodworking machines, the proposed innovation has been further simplified. In the drawing, the further development of the invention is illustrated using an exemplary embodiment. It shows Fig. I the attachment of a table leg to the corner of a rectangular table frame in section along the line AB in Fig. 2, Fig. 2 a plan view of the arrangement according to Fig. I, Fig. 3 the upper end face of the table leg according to Fig. i and 2, Fig. 4 the top view of a corner of the table frame according to Fig. i and 2, Fig. 5 another embodiment in plan view. In the illustrated embodiments, the table leg a is provided at the upper end with an incision b (Fig. 3), which can be made with a band or circular saw. The length of this incision b corresponds to the width of the table frame, which is formed by the frames c and the bar n. The angle e of the metal bracket h engages in the cutout t of the table leg a and the further cutout q, which extends over the table leg a and the bar n , enables the metal bracket h to be countersunk. The lower end of the metal bracket h can be releasably attached to the table leg a , for example by means of the nut L and the wing screw u. By means of the wing screws g, which have their thread in the metal bracket h, the bar n and thus the table frame can be releasably pressed onto the table leg a. For better pressure transmission, the wing screws g exert their pressure on the pressure plates o, which are either nailed to the strips n or riveted to the wing screws g in a known manner. Instead of screwing on the lower end of the metal bracket h by means of the nut l and the wing screw u, the lower end of the metal bracket can also be bent over and provided with an angle m which is inserted into a groove w (Fig. 3), dashed in the drawing, can intervene. The two recesses q and p allow the metal bracket h to be moved upwards when the screws g are loosened, so that the two angles e and m disengage and the metal bracket h can then be removed or reinserted laterally. The dowels v ensure that the table leg a always comes to sit in the correct position in relation to the table frame. The frames c and the bar n are connected by prongs and gluing, so that a closed table frame results. The contact surface s on the bar n can advantageously be ground somewhat hollow so that it rests well on the outside of the table leg a, especially since this is of great value for a good appearance.
Fig. 5 shows an embodiment in which the table leg a with his

The innovation can be applied analogously to other furniture, shelves, etc.
