Es soll ein Klappstuhl mit Rückenlehne mit oder ohne Armlehnen hergestellt
werden, der entgegen den bisher bekannten Ausführungen eine günstigere Stellung
der Stuhlfüße und daher einen festen Stand des Stuhles sowie eine vorteilhaftere
Stellung der Rückenlehne besitzt, wodurch ein bequemes Anlehnen ermöglicht wird.
Außerdem soll der zusammengeklappte Stuhl eine möglichst geringe Länge aufweisen,
damit er bequem wie eine Aktentasche zu tragen ist und auf kleinem Raum viele Stühle
gelagert werden können. Diese Forderungen erfüllen die bisher bekannten Ausführungen
nicht. Bei diesen ist das eine Stuhlfußpaar'zur Rückenlehne ausgebildet. Zwei lange
Holme bilden gleichzeitig in ihrem unteren Teil ein Stuhlfußpaar und in ihrem oberen
Teil die Rückenlehne. Dadurch erhält aber die Rückenlehne eine ungünstige Stellung
zu weit nach hinten, so daß ein bequemes Anlehnen beim Sitzen nicht möglich ist.
Außerdem bedingt diese Ausführung zwangsläufig eine ungünstige Stellung der Stuhlfüße,
so daß der Stuhl leicht kippt und nach hinten ausrutscht, sobald der Ruhende sich
auf die vordere Hälfte des Stuhlsitzes setzt. Der zusammengeklappte Stuhl weist
als Gesamtlänge die Summen der Länge des einen Stuhlfußpaares und der Rückenlehne
auf, da diese aus einem Stück bestehen: Alle diese nachteiligen Eigenschaften werden
vermieden und die eingangs dieser Beschreibung aufgeführten Vorteile werden erzielt,
dadurch, daß die Stuhlbeine wie die Abb. i bis 6 der Zeichnung zeigen, zu einer
Schere ausgebildet sind, an deren Enden ein Lenkerviereck, bestehend aus dem unteren
Teil a der Rückenlehne, dem Sitzholm b, dem kurzen Stützholm c und dem Verbindungsholm

und dem Stützholm c im Gelenk e verbunden, s. Abb. i und 2. Durch diese Anordnung
in Verbindung mit dem Anschlag der Rückenlehne gegen das obereEnde des hinteren
Stuhlbeinpaares wird bei Belastung des Stuhles ein Einknicken im Gelenk e vermieden
und ein fester Stand des Stuhles und der Rückenlehne erreicht. Weiter bewirkt diese
Ausführung, daß beim Vorklappen der Rückenlehne auf den Stuhlsitz die Stuhlbeine
sich zusammenlegen und Rückenlehne und Stuhlsitz nach unten an die Stuhlbeine klappen,
vgl. Abb. 2 und 3. Der zusammengeklappte Stuhl weist nur eine geringe Länge auf.
Der Rundstab f, Abb. 4, am unteren Ende der Rückenlehne, kann als Griff beim Tragen
des Stuhles verwendet werden, wodurch ein bequemes Tragen des Stuhles wie eine Aktentasche
