Hängeleuchten mit Guß- oder Blechgehäuse, insbesondere Außenleuchten Das Aufhängen
und Ansohl.ießen elektrischer Hängeleuchten mit Guß- oder Blechgehäuse erfordert
einen beträchtlichen Aufwand an Morntagear'beit; denn das Arbeiten mit diesen Leuchten
bei der Montage ist deshalb besonders unbequem und zuweilen auch gefahrvoll, weil
die Leuchten in der Regel ein erhebliches Gewicht und große Abmessungen haben und
weil in großen Höhen gearbeitet werden müß. Beim Aufhängen und Anschließen von Außenleuchten
kommen noch Witterungsunbilden, der Straßenverkehr u. dgl. als weitere Arbeitserschwerungen
hinzu. Nachdem die Leuchten zunächst an ihrer Tragvorrichtung aufgehängt sind, müssen
sie an die von außen kommenden Leitungen angeschlossen werden. Dies ,geschieht in
der Regel mit Hilfe von Klemmen, die entweder in einer außerhalb der Leuchte liegenden
Klemmenhaube oder in der Kappe der Leuchte untergebracht sind. Weiter müssen die
von der Glühlampenfassung kommenden Leitungen an die Klemme angeschlossen werden.
Bei diesen Arbeiten ist eine Handhabung der
schieren und sperrigen Leuchte erforderlich.
Es ist deshalb von Wichtig'.°it, die Montage
solcher Leuchten zu vereinfachen und zu er-
leichtern und die Gefahren, die mit der '.Jon-
tage verbunden sind, weitgehend zu vermin-
dern. Dabei sollen aber keine: verwickelten
und teuren Hilfs,einrichtungen verwend.t wer-
den, die unter Umständen zu Störungen Anlaß
geben könnten. Schließlich soll die elektrische
Anschlußarbeit bei der Montage auf ein 'Min-
destmaß herabgesetzt werden, und dabei sollen
das Gewicht und die Abmessungen der Leuchte
nicht liirdernd oder erschwerend im Wege
stehen. Unter Montage soll hier nicht nur das
erste Auf' äug:en und Anschließen der Leuchte
verstanden werden, sondern auch nachträg-
liche Änderungen an den Leuchten. die bei-
spielsw-eIse dadurch nötig werden. daß an
Stelle von Glühlichtbeleuchtung eine Dampf-
lampenbeleuchtung ein-ebaut wird oder daß
die Leuchte infolge Steigerung der Beleuch-
tungsansprüche statt mit einer Glühlampe mit
zwei Glühlampen bestückt werden soll oder
statt einer Glühlampe. die in eine Edison-
fassung eingeschraubt «-erden kann, eine
Glühlampe höherer Wattzahl mit Goliath-
fassung verwendet werden soll.
Zach der Erfindung «-erden alle diese For-
derungen dadurch erfüllt, daß das senkrecht
zur Achse ein- oder mehrmals geteilte Ge-
häuse der Leuchte an jeder Teilungsstelle eine
Schaltvorrichtung nach Art eines Trennschal-
ters mit ihren Anschlußklemmen enthält,
deren Drehpunkt von einem Scharnier gebildet
wird, durch das die beiden Gehäuseteile mit-
einander verbunden sind, und daß die Schalt-
kontakte senkrecht zur Verbindungslinie eines
Scharniers und des zugehörigen Verschlusses
zur mechanischen Verbindung der Leuchten-
teile liegen.
Die Fig. i und 2 zeigen zwei senkrecht zu-
einander liegende Längsschnitte durch eine
Leuchte nach er Erfindung, und zwar ist die
Leuchte zweimal geteilt. Sie besteht aus einem
flachhaubenförmigen Oberteil i, einem Zwi-
schenteil -a und einem die Lampenfassung 3
enthaltenden unteren Teil d. Bei 5 werden die
Leitungen eingeführt. Am Oberteil ist eine
Isolierleiste 6 befestigt, auf der die eine
Hälfte 7 des Trennschalters durch. Festklem-
men gehalten wird. S ist die zugehörige An-
schlußschraube. Die andere Hälfte des Trenn-
schalters g sitzt an einer entsprechenden
Isolierleiste 1o, die an dem darunterliegenden
Teil e des Gehäuses befestigt ist. Sie wird
ebenfalls an der Leiste durch Anklemmen ge-
halten. 1i ist diezugehörigeAnschlußschraube.
Dieselbe Anordnung wiederholt sich an der
Trennstelle zwischen dem Teile und Teil 3
der Leuchte. Das Scharnier 12 besteht aus
einem hakenförmigen Teil an der einen Hälfte ,
1 des Gehäuses, der hinter einen Ansatz an der
anderen Hälfte greift. Das Verschlußstück 13
ist im wesentlichen U-förmig gestaltet und an
j einen Ansatz an der einen HäUte des Gehäuses
i e=ingehakt. Die nach aaßei: tretenden kurzen
Enden (Bezugszeichen 13 in Fig. 1) können
zum Öffnen des @`.ersch .usses entgegen ihrer
Federkraft zusammengedrückt «-erden, wo-
durch si.e sich aus ihrer V errastung mit dem
anderen Teil des Üe'_zäus.es lösen, wie dies in
der Patentschrift 7:@; 151 näher dargestellt ist.
,.Das Zwisclienstii,-k 2 dient beispielsweise zur
Aufnahme von Vorschaltinitteln 14, falls in
der Leuchte eine Entladungslampe allein oder
' eine solche Lampe zusammen mit Glühlampen
zur Erzeugung von 'Mischlicht verwendet wer-
den soll. Fällt der ZZÜiSChent"-il 2 fort, so kann
der Teil 3 ohne weiteres an die flache Kappe i
angesetzt werden. Die Scha_tkortakte in Form
von Flachkontakten liegen senkrecht zur Ver-
bindungslinie des Schariaers und des zuge-
hörigen \`ersc.iilusses. Beim Schwenken drin-
, gen die Schaltmesser bequem in die U-för-
inigen Schaltfedern der anderen Kontakt-
hälfte ein.
An den Trennstellen greifen die Gehäuse-
teile der Leuchte, wie insbesondere an der
Ff-. 2 zu erkennen ist, ineinander ein, so daß
gleich beim Beginn des Schließens eine gegen-
seitige Führung der beiden Teile eintritt.
j Die Montage gellt also so vor sich, daß der
Monteur nur das leichte Oberteil, in dem die
Klemmen liegen, mit sich führen muß, das
mit der für den bestimmten Fall passenden
Aufhängung versehen ist. -Nach dem Auf-
hängen «-erden die Stromzuführungsdrähte an
die Klemmen angeschlossen. Alles dies läßt
sich einfach und mühelos in kürzester Zeit
ausführen. Einen ganzen Straßenzug 'kann
man auf diese Weise schnell installieren. Die
weiteren sperrigen oder schweren Leuchten-
teilekönnen von Hilfskräften nachträglich an-
gebaut werden. Die elektrischen Verb:ndungen
in ihnen sind bereits in der Werkstatt her-
gestellt worden. Die Leticlitenteile werden
zunächst in das Scharnier eingehängt, dann
um das Scharnier als Drehpunkt geschwenkt
und die beiden Hälften des Messerschalters
geschlossen, worauf die Verriegelung durch
den Verschluß auf der gegenüberliegenden
Seite erfolgt. Bei Auswechslungen. späteren
Änderungen od. dgl. körnen die an die Kappe
anzusetzenden weiteren Gehäuseteile leicht
durch andere mit den neuen Einrichtungen
ersetzt werden. Dabei ist ein Abschalten der
Spannung nicht nötig. da an der spannung-
führenden Kapp- nicht gearbeitet wird.
