Description
Process for the preparation of trisazo dyes It has been found that one particularly suitable, good for dyeing leather of various types of tanning leveling and deeply penetrating trisazo dyes are obtained if one uses any Order I mol of the tetrazo compound from an arylenediamine and I mol of a sulfonated one Monodiazo compound that contains neither phenolic hydroxyl groups nor nitro groups, with 1 mole of an I-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-4-sulfonic acid or I - amino - 8 - oxynaphthalene - 3, 6- or -4, 6-disulfonic acid couples and the resulting diazodisazo intermediate combined with an acetoacetic acid arylamide to form the trisazo dye. Instead of the tetrazo compound of an arylenediamine, dianotated nitroarylamines can also be used to build up the dyes or use dianotated acylaminoarylamines in which the nitro group after coupling reduced and dianotized or the acylamino group is saponified and dianotized and then the final coupling takes place finitely with the acetoacetic acid arylamide.
The new trisazo dyes have the valuable property that Leather of various types of tanning in very even and lively green tones to color, the shade of which varies depending on the nature of the components used to build it moved between yellowish green to greenish blue. Despite the downright good The dye liquors prepared with them become the leveling capacity of the trisazo dyes Already completely exhausted with very small amounts of acid.
One has it through suitable substitution, but especially through the choice of the number and position of sulphonic acid groups is easy for everyone given purpose, e.g. coloring or coloring, coloring through, spraying on or Brushing on leather, adapt as much as possible.
The new dyes show compared to those from patent specification 71301, Table on page 2, transverse column 4, longitudinal column 3 and the patent 250330 known Trisazo dyes, for their production, instead of acetoacetic arylamide, salicylic acid Is used, a much better light fastness.
The counterpart is the one known from the French patent specification go6 71 4. Tf-isazo dyes, for their production 2, .l-Dioxyquinoline at Instead of an acetoacetic acid ylamide that is used in greenish black Coloring shades, the trisazo dyes obtainable by the present process stand out except for the better lightfastness due to the better solubility in acidified Brush liquor and therefore better failure of the brush colors on inherited plants leather out. Example t i mole of 4,4'-diaminodphenyl is tetrazotized and the tetrazo compound is in weak mineral acid solution with 1 mole of I-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-3, 6-disulfonic acid coupled. When the formation of the diazoazo compound has ended, it is denoted by t mol I-Diazobenzo1-4 - sulfonic acid combined in alkaline soda. After the coupling has taken place a caustic solution of 1 mole of acetoacetylaminobenzene is allowed to run in. the Coupling occurs immediately with an intense green color. One stirs for a while, then heated to 6o, carefully acidified and salted. The one after filtering off The dye paste obtained is neutralized and evaporated to dryness. You get a dark powder soluble in water with a deep green color. Chrome leather as well as vegetable Tanned Zicg are colored in vivid green tones by the new dye.
If one uses to build up the Farlistoffes instead of the I-aminobenzene-2, 5-disulfonic acid I-aminobenzene-2, -3- or 4-sulfonic acid or I-amino-4-methylbenzene-3-sulfonic acid, in this way one obtains paint studs of almost the same hue, which as a result of their Somewhat lower solubility is particularly suitable where there is less of a tendency to color through than the even, superficial staining or coloring of the leather is important.
Is used in paragraph 2 of this example in place of the 4, 4 '-' tetrazodiplienyl z. B. 4,4'-Tetrazo-3, 3'-dimethoxydiphenyl, a similar dye is obtained.
Is used for the end coupling instead of acetoacetylaminobenzene r-Acetoacetylamino-2-methoxybenzene, you get one in even more pure tones coloring dye: if you use I-acetoacetylamino-2-chlorobenzene, I-acetoacety1amino-2, 5-dichlorobenzene or I-acetoacetylaminonaphthalene as the final component, so obtained one more difficult to dissolve and bluish tinge of paint. Example 3 r moles dianotated I-aminobenzene-2,5-disulfonic acid is, as indicated in the examples. in weak mineral acid Solution combined with t moles of t -amino-8-oxynapthalene-3, 6-disulfonic acid.
Die Dianotierung des gereinigten Aminodisazofarbstoffes erfolgt ebenso wie die Schlußkupplung mit i Mol Acetoacetylaminobenzol in genau gleicher Weise wie im Beispiel 3 angegeben.7u of the alkaline solution of the monoazo dye is gradually added in the cold, t mol of dianotated 1-amino-4-acetylaminobenzene, whereupon coupling to the disazo dye occurs. After some time, enough concentrated sodium hydroxide solution is added to the dark blue solution so that the sodium hydroxide content of the solution is approximately 6%. The solution is heated to 90 to 95 for 1 to 2 hours and, after cooling, is acidified with so much hydrochloric acid that the liquid reacts with mineral acid. The precipitated aniodisazo dye is filtered off, then dissolved again, made slightly alkaline with sodium carbonate and treated with 1 mole of sodium nitrate. The free amino group is dianotized smoothly by running it into hydrochloric acid, whereupon the solution of the dianotated amino disazo dye is allowed to run into a caustic alkaline solution of 1 mole of acetoacetylaminobenzene after some time. The coupling occurs immediately with a green coloration of the coupling mixture. After a while, it is heated to 60 °, acidified and salted out. After drying, the new dye is a dark gray powder that is easily soluble in water with a deep green color. It stains chrome leather and vegetable-tanned goatskin in green tones. Example 4 The neutral solution of 1 mole of i-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid is added dropwise to r mole of dianotated I-amino-4-nitrobenzene. By stirring well, one ensures that no lumps are formed in the gradually thickening coupling mixture. After stirring for 2 hours, zoo g of 300% sodium hydroxide solution are added and then 40 g of solid sodium carbonate. The monoazo dye goes into solution with a blue color and is slowly salted out with 2ooo g of sodium chloride. It is slipped off, dissolved in water with 400% sodium carbonate, the solution is heated to 80 and allowed to cool to 4 while stirring. One mole of dianotated r-aminobenzene-2,5-disulfonic acid is added to the solution in which part of the monoazo dye has precipitated in finely divided form, the color of the solution changing from blue-violet to pure blue. After some time, a solution of 36o g of crystallized sodium sulphide is added and the mixture is heated to 40 to 45 ° for a few hours. The resulting greenish blue amino disazo dye is precipitated by acidifying the solution. It is dissolved in a weakly alkaline form and separated from the excreted sulfur by filtration. The dianotation of the purified aminodisazo dye, like the final coupling with 1 mole of acetoacetylaminobenzene, is carried out in exactly the same way as in Example 3.
After working up, the dye is a black powder, which easily dissolves in water to form a deep yellowish green liquid. Chrome leather as well as vegetable-tanned goatskin are lively from the new dye colored green tones.
