A percentage measuring bridge is measured with the help of an automatically adjusting compensator
is known to be a Wheatstone bridge, with the help of which small deviations
of a resistance can be determined as a percentage of a prescribed nominal value
can. With one of the two types of percentage measuring bridges, the deviation
of the setpoint at the division of a rheostat at the galvanometer deflection
Read zero, at the other, the deflection of the galvanometer on the basis of the
the deviation of the resistance from the nominal value directly in percent calibrated scale.
One of the measuring bridges is therefore called the adjustment of an A resistor
as an indirect one, the other as a direct-pointing percentage bridge.
Sollen also Fehlermöglichkeiten durch
The indirect percentage measuring bridges have the disadvantage that with one
large number of resistors to be tested, a lot of time is lost in balancing
and. therefore only a few resistors are tested during a certain period of time
can. in this respect the direct-pointing percentage bridges are the indirect ones
Consider percent measuring bridges. But it turns out again with the directly indicating
as very disadvantageous. that if the setpoints to be checked are of different size
Resistances at the same time the sensitivity and thus the calibration of the display instrument
changes, so that alsu a certain scale for each target resistance value of the test objects
is required. By changing the bridge voltage or by connecting adjustable ones
Resistances to the display instrument can be achieved. that for different
large resistances can maintain the same scale, but require this
Special attention should be paid to the issue of an ongoing audit of
such resistance cannot be expected from less trained personnel.
So should possible errors through
incorrect operation of the measuring bridge
should be avoided as far as possible and the test should be carried out quickly, in particular
even done automatically, then it is from a direct-pointing percentage measuring bridge
to demand that without any change be it the bridge tension or be it
by regulating resistances, the determination instrument to be tested resistances of the most varied
Order of magnitude always correctly shows on the same percentage scale. For operation
in addition to reading the measured value, the measuring bridge may only apply the reference resistance
and heard of the test item.
Schleifdrahtteilung unmittelbar in Prozenten geeicht.
ordnen. A percent measuring bridge with such properties is now in the
Subject matter of the invention available. It is a direct current measuring bridge in which the
Detuning EMF (diagonal voltage with the help of an automatically balancing compensator
is measured and according to the invention for the purpose of measuring the relative deviation of
Resistances of their respective setpoints as a percentage measuring bridge that displays directly
with scale graduation independent of the absolute size of the comparison resistance
is trained. If you use a sliding wire compensator for this, the
Abrasive wire division immediately calibrated as a percentage. But preferably a
Photocell compensator according to Lindeck-Rothe used because it is almost inertial
works and the display instrument in the auxiliary circuit, which is given a percentage scale,
at the same time can be designed as a contact instrument to optionally currents
for auxiliary relays to be able to trigger the test items according to certain tolerances
put in order.
The beneficial effect of connecting a direct indicator
Percent measuring bridge with an automatic compensator results from the fact.
that only the detuning emf is measured, d. H. so no current in the diagonal branch
the bridge flows. Since the detuning EMF, however, with the most diverse values of the
DUT always remains the same, provided. that the relationship between examinee
and the comparison resistance has remained the same, the deflection changes
of the indicating instrument in the auxiliary circuit of the compensator nothing if the test objects
are probably of different sizes, z. B. be between I ohms and 100,000 ohms, but
all have the same deviation from their respective target values.

Of the four resistances of the percent measuring bridge, 1 represent the test item,
2 represents the comparison resistance and the other two fixed resistances. In the
one diagonal branch is the voltage source 3. in the other diagonal branch the
Zero directional instrument 4 and the compensation resistor 5 of the photocell compensator.

The zero instrument controls in a well-known manner via the photocell
