·The purpose of the method described below is the production of light, flat bezw. High pressure plates respectively. of molds for electroplating or metal casting .. To achieve this purpose is paper or some other document, which with a possibly through Pigments, colored galatine layer is coated, after sensitizing by means of chromates, dry with the layer side on a surface provided with ruled lines, grains and the like left, whereby you, according to the document, Relief assumes. Then you copy under a transparent negative or positive. ·
The preparation of the gelatin paper is the same for all the purposes mentioned above and exists by placing the paper (the gelatin layer upwards) on a chromate solution swim until it goes down, which is the case after about two minutes. The sensitizing bath consists of 50 g of double chromic acid potash in 1 liter of water, either with an additive of ammonia liquid until the bath is citrus yellow, or of 5 g of sulfuric acid Manganese oxide The bathed paper is dried in the dark in the manner described above and copied as usual. "After the exposure, the gelatin paper will be fatter Rolled in paint. Then you develop in a known manner by inserting the paper in water. The result is the following: · Leave all areas not hit by the light the fat color gets rid of during development and becomes even, while those struck by the light Make the fat color as firmly as possible. they were struck by the light, and in keep the lines, points, etc. of the drying base plate in the same relationship. That The resulting image on the gelatin etc. layer can now be used for lithographic or other purposes Printing purposes' are reprinted and treated further in a known manner.
Soll eine Form für Galvanoplastik bezw. Metall- etc. Should a form for electroplating bezw. If metal, etc. Gufs are made, the gelatine paper is put into the water immediately after exposure, where it has to remain for about 2 hours until all parts not affected by the light have swelled. The relief obtained by swelling is placed on a pane of glass and, after it has dried with damp relief paper, poured into gypsum, wax and the like.
