was Anlaß. zu Materialverlust gibt.
Method for the production of a clay pipe socket cement Clay pipe socket
are known to be sealed with a putty. This putty consists expediently of
a mixture of pitch, rock flour and a tar oil with about 3o% over 2io ° boiling
Crude acids. The production of a known putty of this type is done, for. B.
in such a way that 30 to 35 parts of coal tar pitch are melted and the melt
with 60 parts rock flour and 5 to 10 parts coal tar oil in one
Mixer mixed. The mixture obtained is poured into buckets or drums,
in which she. stiffens. The putty is then dispatched in this form. At the place of his
When it is used, it is melted again and filled into the sockets of the clay pipes.
where it solidifies again and seals the sleeves. Both making this
Clay pipe socket cement and its application are associated with various disadvantages.
. The melting together of the three components pitch, rock flour and tar oil requires
the supply of a significant amount of heat which is costly. The melt will
transferred to relatively small vessels, from which they are broken open again
Will get removed. Obtaining these vessels is today with greater difficulty
connected, also the removal of the emptied vessel material from the construction site
laborious. The contents of the vessel must be crushed and melted again so that
it can be filled into the clay pipe socket. That: everything takes time and money.
In addition, deterioration and losses of the material occur that
it is repeatedly subjected to a heating process. The warming always occurs
a certain incrustation and cracking on the bottoms and walls of the vessels,
what the occasion. to material loss.
All these disadvantages «; earth
eliminated by the present invention; which is that pitch in liquid
State "ideally direct", coming from the distillation, with the tar oil
to mix and to solidify the mixture thus obtained, in this way
The hard mass obtained is then ground and in a mixer, with rock flour
mixed, with part of the rock flour already in the mass before grinding
can be added to: prevent the grinder from sticking; if this at
the nature of the bituminous mass is to be feared. It arises after this
Process a powdery mixture that is filled into sacks and sent for shipping
comes. At the construction site, the bags are emptied, and that: Powder is made by heating
brought into a thin liquid state and poured into the sleeves. By cooling down
hardens @es then lvieder; depending on the outside temperature, to a viscoplastic one
or stiff mass and thus forms a good binding of the sleeves.
It is quite clear that with this method the heating costs are significant
are lower than with the old one, because the melting together of the components falls
completely away, so that special heating costs do not need to be incurred.
In addition, however, the powdery putties are much easier to ship and process
as, the solid. Tin drums and metal buckets @ `tz: .dgl. are not required.
4c2 @ fold paper sacks are sufficient as packaging material, which hold the powder
automatic scales is filled. So it can be in any amount on simple
Ways to get to consumers. The easier processing of the powdery
The main thing about Kittes is that it can be melted very quickly and easily.
These are all properties of the powdery clay pipe socket cement,
which make this appear superior to the fixed.
