Description
Articulated connection for a polygonal iron pit support frame In the polygonal or arched expansion of the routes in mines, round timbers are used used as a pinch wood insert, both at the joint points of the expansion an axial merging of the expansion parts as well as a change in the angle setting allow these parts to each other. The round timbers are pushed through pressure trays detected, which naturally in coupling with the expansion parts in the joint participate and have to transmit the movement that is taking place.
It is not uncommon for the bowls to move against one another in this way .The pinch wood is deformed or destroyed in such a way that the shells -and with it the expansion parts no longer have the correct support position to each other, so that the fuse becomes defective at the knee. This is to be avoided by the invention, by connecting the shells so that they face against each other on both sides Train firmly and against pressure are supported resiliently against each other. So with each other coupled shells can approach each other when the wooden insert is squashed, because the connection is flexible against pressure. But if the angle of the Expansion parts, so you can see the outer side when reducing the angle, the . is placed under tensile action, @ view it as a fixed point of articulation, while on the inside, the shells are under pressure and approaching each other can. If one relates this process to the angle enlargement, the opposite is found instead of.
The form of the connection can be as shown in some examples is to be very different. The only condition is that the connection points when they come together the extension parts are flexible and that each connection point depends on the stress can alternately be flexible or rigid under tension or pressure.
Although it is known that the pinch wood gripping, shell-like Connect parts firmly to the expansion and lay them against a pinch wood and they to be grasped in pairs by a traction device and braced together, however the parts resting against the squeaky wood can move within this traction device do not move significantly, so that the change in angle of the expansion parts after one: or the other is disabled. It is also known the expansion parts to place on loose, against .das pinch-wood sheets, so that these sheets can merge on both the inside and the outside of the polygonal knee, however, these sheets are not shells that enclose a round wood and are resistant Have to produce core in this wood. So there would be no point with them depending on the change in angle a fixed pivot point on the outer or on the to be provided on the inner side of the expansion knee.
In contrast, there is the invention in that the .the tensioning causing traction means at 'each of the mutually facing ends of the two shells are articulated.
In the drawing, the invention is shown in four exemplary embodiments shown.
Figs. Z and 2 show an embodiment in side view and plan, Fig. 3 and q. another in the same way. In Figs. 5 and 6 are a. third and reproduced a fourth embodiment.
In FIGS. I and 2, the extension parts a and a1 are equipped with shells b and b1 in a known manner, so that the pinch wood e is well grasped for the systematic safeguarding of the squeezing. The two shells b and b1 are connected to each other at their ends at A and B by two screw bolt ends -d and dl-, dl. If the two extension parts a and a1 approach each other in a similar direction, squeezing the wood c, the shells are not prevented from moving with them, since the screw bolts d and dl only limit the elongation but not the shortening of the connection. It is then advisable to re-tension by turning the nuts. If the two extension parts a and a1 swing towards each other while reducing the angle, the connection at A is subjected to tensile stress, but it remains articulated. On the other hand, connection B, which is subjected to pressure, gives way easily, and it is here that the connection can be re-tensioned. In any case, the shells remain effectively connected to one another. This also applies to the movement when increasing the angle.
According to FIGS. 3 and ¢ there is the type of connection between the Shells b and bi from an automatic tooth lock at each end of the shell. Of the toothed bolt i can penetrate the bushing k, and this bushing is on theirs The inside is serrated and the distances between the walls are dimensioned so that ate when penetrating the bolt h a barb-like toothing occurs between the two parts, wherein the flexibility of the material is sufficient to secure the end will. The conclusion can be supported by a slight conicity. She's on the move Connection yielding, but then it grants flexibility.
In Fig. 5 it is shown how the Verbisdune by chain links can be produced in the simplest possible way. A turnbuckle m is inserted into the chain l. If the shells b and b1 approach each other, the turnbuckles are the Chain connections can be retightened. Of course, this only has one side if necessary to happen.
Fig. 6 shows a connection between the shells b and bi, which from a single piece, namely a chain n looping around both shells. The chain can be retensioned in any way. It is expedient in it to insert a turnbuckle, the freedom of movement of which is ensured by the fact that from .the pinch wood c at the relevant storage point of the turnbuckle is taken away. If the distance between the shell narrows, be it with or without If the angle changes, the chain tt can be retensioned.
