Explosionssicheres Gefäß für elektrische Hochspannungsapparate Für
besondere Zwecke, z. B. als Gehäuse für Strom- bzw. Spannungswandler, Leistungstransformatoren,
Explosion-proof container for high-voltage electrical equipment For
special purposes, e.g. B. as a housing for current or voltage converters, power transformers,
Capacitors, vessels are required which are filled with a liquid insulating material,
such as mineral oil, chlorinated hydrocarbons or the like, filled and tightly sealed
are to prevent moisture penetration and loss of liquid insulating material
to prevent evaporation.
The tight seal forces an air space in the vessel
to create an air cushion, since without such an air cushion it is already moderate
Temperature increases dangerous internal pressures occur. The air cushion works, however
as a pressure accumulator and leads to explosive phenomena when the internal pressure
rips the container.
enthaltende'Teil. The invention eliminates this disadvantage of the air cushion,
by dividing the vessel into two parts, one of which in each operating condition
only liquid, the other always at the same time contains liquid and air, whereby the
Vessel parts connected by an opening located below the liquid level
are, so that the pressure in the air space is only affected by that in the liquid space
can transmit that liquid flows through .the opening and that according to the invention
this opening is kept so small that when it breaks, there is always liquid
containing vessel part immediately occurring pressure drop through the pressure accumulator
of the air cushion is not obstructed. The part of the container that partially contains air
is expediently designed for greater internal pressure than the liquid only
containing'part.
With this arrangement, an operational pressure increase occurs in the only
Liquid-containing vessel part, for example in a transducer by the operational
If the winding heats up, it happens so slowly that a pressure equalization between
both container parts take place, so the air cushion can have a balancing effect.
If the pressure nevertheless rises so high that it is generally larger and less firm
If the air-free part of the vessel ruptures, a momentary pressure drop occurs in this while
from the smaller part of the vessel, which contains partly air and partly liquid
Liquid can only flow in through the narrow opening in the partition. It
so parts of the large vessel cannot be thrown away because
when tearing the
Immediately falling liquid pressure in the vessel
cannot be sustained by the air cushion.
An example of the application of the invention to a current converter is
shown in the drawing.
Inside i is the current transformer vessel with the tightly attached bushing insulator
a, on which an expansion vessel 3 is also tightly placed, in which an intermediate wall
4 is inserted tightly with at least .einer narrow opening 5. The oil level is up
in all operating conditions over this partition, z. B. at 6, and leaves one
Airspace 7 free. In the exemplary embodiment, the derivation 8 is .proof by the
Partition led; but it can also lead out below the partition wall
will. If now z. B. a crack in the one against mechanical stresses the most
sensitive porcelain insulator due to the accumulation in the expansion vessel
Gases that transfer the pressure to the incompressible liquid, so will each
sudden pressure delivery in the bushing insulator2 inhibited or
braked that as a result of the arrangement, the throttle opening 5, the pressure from the air space
can only slowly affect the fluid space.
Instead of a special opening that constantly connects the parts of the vessel
5 to be provided in the partition wall, the lead-through opening for the discharge can also be provided
can be used to connect both container parts by leaking them accordingly
executes. The throttling effect of the flow of liquid can be relatively
large annular gap caused thereby or with a relatively narrow annular gap
be reinforced by going into the opening in the bottom of the expansion tank
Inserts pipe sections made of insulating material. Another area of application of the idea of the invention
is the water pressure test of vessels. Here it is difficult to connect the
Pressure line to the water-filled vessel to completely avoid air pockets.
An auxiliary vessel with a small opening is therefore placed in front of the test item
Intermediate wall, on the part of which the pressure line is connected facing away from the test object
so .that any air inclusions have no explosion effects when the
Can cause test specimen.
