Die in neuerer Zeit in Gebrauch gekommenen Halbgaloschen haben den grofsen Fehler, dafs sie nicht genügend fest an dem Fufse zu befestigen sind.The half-galoshes which have recently come into use have the great fault that they are they are not fastened firmly enough to the foot.

Diesem Uebelstande ist nun durch vorliegende Erfindung abgeholfen worden. Dieselbe besteht in der Verbindung der bis an die innere Seite des Hackens verlängerten Halbgaloschen mit einem festen, an die Form des Hackens sich anschliefsenden Bügel., welcher eine sichere und dabei bequeme Befestigung an dem Hacken des Schuhzeuges und eine ebenso leichte Lösung gestattet. Dieser Bügel umschliefst die drei, gerundeten Seiten des Hackens, ähnlich wie dies bei den Sporen der Fall ist. Die beiden vorderen Enden des Bügels sind unter sich durch einen Metallstreifen verbunden, welcher mit seiner Breitseite flach gegen die Gelenksohle zu liegen kommt, während die hintere Kante gegen die innere gerade Seite des Hackens stöfst, so dafs der Bügel diesen ganz umschliefst. Der gleich den Enden des Bügels mit kleinen Löchern versehene Querstreifen ist nun in das hintere Ende der Halbgalosche zwischen Sohle und Brandsohle eingelassen und mittelst Drahtes festgenäht, oder durch Nieten oder Schrauben befestigt.This inconvenience has now been remedied by the present invention.
