Description
- Verfahren zum Schlichten von Kreppgarnen Das Patent 648 5o8 betrifft ein Verfahren zum Schlichten von Kreppgarnen, das durch die Verwendung solcher Produkte gekennzeichnet ist, die durch Verseifen von Mischpolymerisaten aus Maleinsäure bzw. ihren Derivaten und einem Vinylester hergestellt sind. Die besondere Wirkung der erhaltenen Produkte besteht darin, daß sie infolge ihrer Eigenschaft, in heißem Wasser wesentlich leichter löslich zu sein als in kaltem -Wässer, für Kreppschlichte besonders gut geeignet sind.
- Es wurde nun gefunden, daß nicht nur diese verseifbaren Mischpolymerisate der Maleinsäure die Eigenschaft zeigen, auf der Faser Filme zu erzeugen, die sich infolge ihrer verschiedenen Löslichkeit in kaltem und heißem Wasser beliebig langsam ablösen lassen, sondern daß sich die entsprechenden verseifbaren Mischpolymerisate von polymerisationsfähigen ungesättigten Monocarbonsäuren, wie Acrylsäure, Methylacrylsäure, Butadienylcarbonsäure, ebenso verhalten. Da die erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenden Produkte zum Teil eine bessere Wärmelöslichkeit aufweisen als die mit Maleinsäure hergestellten und dann verseiften Mischpolymerisate, sind mit ihrer Verwendung in manchen Fällen Vorteile verbunden. Beispiele i. 5o Gewichtsteile einer polymeren Carbonsäure, die durch Verseifen eines Mischpolymerisates aus Acrylsäure und Vinylchlorid erhalten wurde, werden in 1 1 Wasser bei Siedehitze gelöst. In diese Lösung führt man bei etwa 70° Kreppgarn aus Viscoseseide ein, schleudert ab und trocknet. Die so behandelte Ware hat einen sehr guten Fadenschluß und ist in der Kälte nicht entschlichtbar, jedoch gut in wäßrigen Alkalien oder in warmem Wasser.

Man stellt in derselben Weise eine wäßrige Lösung des Verseifungsproduktes eines Mischpolymerisates aus Vinylacetat und Butadienylcarbonsäure her und geht in diese Lösung bei 6o° mit Kreppgarn aus Acetatseide ein. Nach gutem Durchtränken wird abgeschleudert und getrocknet. Der so geschlichtete Faden hat ähnliche Eigenschaften wie die nach Beispiel i behandelte Ware.
