Description
Production of sparingly soluble salts of silicofluoric acid in the Manufacture of silicofluorosodium, silicofluorotassium and silicofluorobarium by Reaction of hydrofluoric acid with suitable salts of sodium, potassium or barium the siliceous fluoride salt of the corresponding cation is usually obtained in slimy, poorly filterable and poorly washable form, if one considers the reaction constituents only mixed with one another in such a way that one reacts in an amount of one reaction component brings in the equivalent amount of the others. Also by slowly entering the a component and the otherwise effective prolonged stirring of the precipitation the filterability of the precipitated salt does not improve, especially if stronger Hydrofluoric acid is used.
It has now been found that a sandy, easily filterable product can be obtained if the precipitation is carried out in such a way that optionally Part of the mother liquor of a batch still containing sediment or in water, the hydrofluoric acid and the precipitating salt or precipitating agent in solid or dissolved Form simultaneously and continuously entered in subsets that are as equivalent as possible will. It is essential that at no point in time there should be any significant excess of the one or another reaction component in the approach before -., b.and are. as As a precipitating agent, such salts can be used, from which the silicofluoric acid releases other acids, as well as carbonates, hydroxides and sulfides.
Beispiele i. B. in 2ooo Gewichtsteile) eingetragen. Examples i. From a larger supply each becomes 9o.5 parts by weight Silicic acid (3o, 8 H.SiFs) and 25, o parts by weight of solid common salt removed and at the same time in the remainder of an earlier approach or in the water that has already been introduced (e.g. in 2,000 parts by weight). If one chooses grams as parts by weight, so these amounts can be entered in the course of about 1 minute, since this Time the conversion takes place with the formation of the sandy salt. After completion of one batch, stirring can be continued for about 10 minutes and then the silica fluorosodium be filtered off.
2. 103 Gewichtsteile Kieselflußsäure (28 H2SiFs) und 29 Gewichtsteile Natriumsulfat werden, wie in Beispiel x angegeben, behandelt.2. 103 parts by weight of hydrofluoric acid (28 H2SiFs) and 29 parts by weight Sodium sulfate are treated as indicated in Example x.
In both examples, solutions can also be used instead of solid salts of table salt or sodium sulfate can be worked.
The soda and table salt can be added in solid form or can be dissolved in water or in filtrates from previous approaches before being added.
An Stelle von Chlorkali können auch andere Kalisalze sowie Pottasche und Kalilauge Verwendung finden.q .. ioo parts by weight Kieselflußsäure (30 0/0 H2SiFs) and 3o parts by weight Chlorkali be, as indicated, treated. Instead of potassium chloride, other potassium salts such as potash and potassium hydroxide can also be used.
5. ioo Gewichtsteile Kieselflußsäure (30 0/0) und ¢9 Gewichtsteile Chlorbarium (BaC12 a H20) werden, vrieangegeben, behandelt. Das Chlorbarium wird z. B. in Wasser gelöst. An Stelle von Chlorbarium können auch Baxiumcarbonat oder auch Schwefelbariumlauge Verwendung finden.5. 100 parts by weight of hydrofluoric acid (30%) and 9 parts by weight Chlorbarium (BaC12 a H20) are, as stated, treated. The chlorine barium will z. B. dissolved in water. Instead of chlorobarium, baxium carbonate or Sulfur barium lye can also be used.
