Abstract

The shoe for use with a snow-board is fitted in a binding with a binding plate (13), behind which is a leg support (15) and with a strap (19,21) to fix the shoe on the binding plate. The strap is attached to a pivoting section (17) which is coupled to the front part of the binding plate and can be fixed in position (33,35). Preferably a front (19) and rear (21) strap are provided and both are fixed to the pivoting section, which has a support for the sole of the shoe. It preferably has two arms (25) connected by at least one crosspiece (23) and the binding plate has two sidewalls (43) which act as lateral stops for the pivoting section when folded down.
