Die Vorrichtung besteht aus zwei Haupttheilen, und zwar der doppelwandigen Glocke A und dem Teller B. Die aus den Wänden a und b gebildete Glocke A hat am oberen Theil einen Hals c, der mit Stöpsel d durch die Klammer e luftdicht verschlossen werden kann. Durch diese Oeffnung kann die Glocke mit Wasser und Eis gefüllt werden.
