ermöglichen sollen. Diese Art der. Temperaturregelung ist umständlich und unzuverlässig;
Furnace for the production of gas and coke with vertical retorts and vertical
Heating flues For furnaces for the production of gas and coke with vertical retorts or
Chambers and a number of vertical heating flues became the fuel gases for the heating flues
so far often fed by individual burners at the bottom of each heating flue
are attached and a uniform flame exposure of the heating wall through individual adjustment
should enable. This kind of. Temperature control is cumbersome and unreliable;
there is also often insufficient space to arrange individual burners at the lower ends of the heating cables.
It has therefore already been proposed; the heating of the heating wall in
make the way that the fuel gases through a single burner a sole channel
are supplied and the combustion gases through the vertical heating flues into one
reach the upper collecting channel. The combustion gases are generated from this collecting duct
then directly at the end of the heating wall diagonally opposite the burner
fed to the upper channel of a second heating wall. in which the gases continue to flow downwards.
In such .Oven the advantage is already achieved that the individual, through the
different heating flues passing through gas flows within the heating wall, d. H.
Cover the same distance from the burner to its withdrawal from the heating wall.
In this way it is avoided that the individual heating flues do not have different amounts
the combustion gases sweep through. Adjusting the temperature within
the heating walls, however, in this known type of construction through at the ends of each
Heizzuges provided slide made, so that also in this case, similar
as in the case of flaming through a single burner, only a cumbersome, time-consuming one
and unreliable control of the heating wall temperature is possible. Most of all it is
.difficult, the flow and quantity ratios of the individual gas streams and thus
to precisely coordinate the temperature in the heating flues.
According to the invention are now in a furnace in which the exhaust gases
a heating wall go directly to the heat recovery system or to the chimney,
the combustion gases from the upper .Sammelkanal in a known manner
an opening discharged at the end diagonally opposite the burner
the heating wall is arranged, and the size of this opening is by means of a single
Organ regulated. With such a design is the same while maintaining the advantage
long combustion gas paths within the heating walls a simple,
quick and reliable control option for the heating wall temperature available.
In the furnace according to the invention it is namely possible to use the individual gas streams
and thus the temperature in the entire heating wall is increased by a single slide
regulate so that. the temperature conditions within the individual heating flues
be influenced equally.
In the pictures is an execution.
Example of the invention reproduced, namely Fig. i shows a vertical section
through the heating wall of a furnace according to the invention, while Fig. z is a horizontal
Shows section through the lower supply duct and the heating flues.
The heating wall is formed by the vertical heating elements, whose
lower ends are connected to a sole channel e and the upper ends in
a horizontal collecting channel. run into f. At the one end of the sole canal
A single, telescopic burner A is arranged. That burner
is expediently so far away from the confluence in the first Heizzuge that
at the junction of this heating flue there is already a complete flame formation
is available. The combustion gases enter the heating flues through openings d
e, rise in these and emerge from them into the upper horizontal channel f.
At the right end of the horizontal channel f, i.e. diagonally opposite the burner A,
a single vent opening B is provided, which can be regulated by a slide.
This single slider can be used to regulate the temperature in the entire heating wall
will. Since the paths of the flame particles or the combustion gases from burner A
until the exhaust opening B through all heating flues e are completely the same length,
must determine the flow and quantity ratios when regulating the single slide
of the individual gas flows and thus the temperature in the individual heating flues
be influenced equally. So there will be every slide position at the opening
B affect all heating flues e in the same way.
