derselben Zone eingreift und die Kopfsteine an diesen Steinschichten verankert;
The invention relates to a furnace wall of this type in which
the per se known removal of the stones of the individual wall zones to the outside
should be facilitated during operation. The invention consists in that
the stones of the top layer of each wall zone, the cobblestones, on their underside
have a recess for an insert engaging with play, which at the same time
into the retaining groove of the lower lying stone layers held by the anchor iron
engages in the same zone and anchors the cobblestones to these stone layers;
In addition, the cobblestones are set down on their upper side on the fire side and lay
with the projections formed in this way against projections on the underside of the foot stones
the next higher wall zone with such a margin in the vertical direction
indicates that the cobblestones have been lifted and removed over the inlay to the outside
can be.
Is the headstone of a zone removed to the outside in this way
the remaining stones of the zone can be lifted and removed to the outside
will. The reinsertion is done in the same way. Cooling pipes covering the wall
are upstream on the fire side, this replacement does not interfere.
In a furnace wall designed according to the invention are therefore
the top stones of each wall zone are loosely anchored to the stones of the
own as well as the higher lying wall zone; however, the anchoring is like this
designed that the stones are nevertheless easily removed to the outside
can.

An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing.
Fig. T shows a wall zone including the foot stone of the bar above and the head stone
the area below the bar, partly in a vertical section. Fig 2 is a vertical one
Section along the line 2-2 of Fig. F, seen from the right, Fig.3 is a plan of the
Zone with the cobblestone removed.
The stones a, b and c of the wall zone are supported on an angle iron d, which is attached to an iron wall frame. With the exception of the head stone a, all stones are provided with T-shaped retaining grooves t in which an anchor iron g of T-shaped cross-section engages. This anchor iron is supported with its lower front edge on the horizontal flange of the associated angle iron d, engages over its _senkrechte flange with a hook h and is supported against it with a shoulder i, so that it is completely fixed. In addition, a T-shaped insert k (Fig. 2) engages with its web from above into the retaining groove of the uppermost center stone b, into which the anchor iron g only extends about halfway. It rests with its two flanges on the head surface of this stone and engages in a cutout 1 in the foot surface of the head stone a with clearance so that it is anchored against inadvertent outward movement. The anchoring against unintentional inward movement is achieved in a manner known per se primarily by a projection in on the top of the head stone, which is supported against a projection st on the underside of the foot stone of the next higher wall zone. Between the recessed part of the head stone a and the protruding part of the foot stone c above, a clearance o is left free for the expansion of the masonry, which at the same time allows the head stone a to be lifted so far that it removes it outwards over the insert k can be.
The wall scaffolding is covered with sheet metal, which, as is known,
are individually removable. The spaces between these panels and the outer surfaces of the
Stones can be filled with insulating compound. But you can also use cooling air, for example
Pass the combustion air to be preheated through.
