Description
The invention relates to paddle wheels for Raddaropfer, in which the blades z. B. can be adjusted by an eccentric drive to influence the angle of application. These paddle wheels have the disadvantage that the joints are subjected to a great deal of wear, because chemical and physical stresses on the sliding threads occur during the constant movement of the paddles through the water. In particular, there is always sand and similar impurities in the fairway, finely distributed in the form of mud, which mechanically stress the sliding surfaces.
The repair of the joints on the paddle wheels is so annoying and costly because it makes the whole steamer incapable of working for a long time.
According to the invention, the joint ao surfaces of the vane adjustment mechanism are during the orbital movement of the paddle wheel is switched into the flushing flow of a viscous liquid under high pressure, so that the Un-S5 cleanliness contained in the fairway is prevented from entering the joints and any impurities that have penetrated are always rinsed out immediately.
The flushing liquid must be adapted to the nature of the fairway; but it is advantageous to choose the rinsing liquid at the same time so that there is also a certain lubrication of the joint surface a. Thick Lubricants and greases hold over, in a steady stream of high pressure the joint surfaces driven, the sliding surfaces not only pure, but also generate on End of the joint parts a bead, which is water-repellent and the entry of impurities helps prevent in the joint surfaces.
The flushing flow can be generated with the aid of a flushing pump with a pendulum drive is provided and which, sitting on a part rotating with the impeller shaft, with a drive lever from the vibrating shovel or the one driving the shovel Steering gear is advanced.
In such paddle wheels, however, there are two groups of joints, the experience a relative movement of a certain size during one revolution of the wheel. These two groups are on the one hand the wheel vane joints and on the other hand those of the eccentric ring driven handlebar parts. As a result of this peculiarity it results the difficulty that of the irrigation pump, regardless of where it is attached, to a flexible line for the flushing flow must be laid in one of these two groups, which forms a sufficient loop for the parts to move relative to one another being able to lead. These flexible, freely hanging pieces of pipe are the danger of a Exposed to breakage or other damage, especially in fairways floating branches, ice floes, etc.
Um diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden, werden gemäß der weiteren Erfindung für jedes Schaufelrad zwei Spülpumpen benutzt, vonIn order to avoid this disadvantage, according to the further invention for each Impeller used by two mud pumps
Von diesen beiden Spülpumpen können dann feste Leitungen nach den zugeordneten Gelenkteilen geführt werden, was zugleich den Vorteil hat, daß die beiden Pendelantriebe der Spülpumpe nur miteinander zu verbinden sind, um eine sehr einfache Fortschaltung zu erhalten*.which one on the impeller shaft or the parts immovably connected to it is attached, while the other on the eccentric ring guided by the impeller shaft sits. Fixed lines can then be used from these two flushing pumps to the assigned Joint parts are performed, which also has the advantage that the two pendulum drives of the flushing pump only with each other are to be connected in order to obtain a very simple step-up *.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Ausführungsbeispiel der letztbeschriebenen Anordnung, und zwar zeigtThe drawing illustrates an embodiment of the last-described arrangement, namely shows
Abb.
Fig. Ι the paddle wheel in side view and Fig. 2 in partial longitudinal section.
In the illustrations, A is the wheel vane joints and B the joints of the control arms C. As a result of the rotation of the eccentric 2Q ring D on the eccentric stone E , the joint groups A and B experience a relative movement depending on the size of the eccentricity, which occurs when only one flushing pump is used requires the use of flexible line and drive parts. This is avoided if, according to the further invention, two flushing pumps // and / are used, of which one pump // is attached to the eccentric ring D and the other pump / to the wheel hub G, in such a way. that the P, drive sides are facing each other. If the drive levers K. and L are now connected to one another in an articulated manner, then the pumps // and / are advanced by the relative movement of their carrier parts, without any further drive linkage being necessary. Each of the two pumps can then feed one of the joint groups A and B via fixed lines.
