Description

The invention relates to a device for stripping leaves, especially tobacco leaves. It's with fixtures known of this type, the sheets between endless scratching belts o. Ügl. to hold and pull off the stalks in their longitudinal direction using grippers. After Invention are at right angles · or approximately at right angles to the two scratching belts Stacked endless conveyor belts are arranged with the stalks between them grasp and remove from the leaf flags. The conveyor belts mean that a considerable part of each stalk is removed Long, in contrast to claws, which the stalks only over a short length grasp, so that a small part of the stencil covers the whole bean that occurs during the stripping; and the stalks often break before they completely erupt pulled out of the sheet.

A table 1 (Fig. I) 3, which forms part of the machine frame, has transverse parts and lateral frame parts 2 and 3, which carry the shafts 4, 5 and 5 ° provided with gears and driven. An endless belt 8 runs around 'a pair of rollers 6' and 7, of which the roller 6 is firmly seated on the shaft 4, on the rear edge of which an endless belt 9 covered with scratches is riveted. Another belt 10 covered with scrapers has scraper teeth 11 which protrude somewhat further from one another and is riveted onto a belt 12 which runs around rollers 13 and 14, the latter of which is driven by shaft 5.

The worker places the sheets on the conveyor belts 15 and 16 with the stem ends resting on the guide 77 . If the sheets are very long, they protrude up to the conveyor belt 17 .

A roller brush 30 rotates over a fixed, preferably flat, stem processing surface36, which forms part of the table top 1.

Die Hauptaufgabe des Kratzenbeschlages 9 ist aber, auf die Stengel einenAs it rotates, the brush presses the leaf stalks against the surface 36 and tears any fragments of the leaf vane lying on surface 36 from the stalks, while the sheet as a whole, with or without the support of the scraper 9, through the upper Belt 18 is held on the conveyor belt 16. The main task of the scratch fitting But 9 is one on the stalk

The direction of rotation of the brush 30 is indicated in Fig. 4 by an arrow. A narrow plate 38 has the effect that the leaves penetrate into the scraper fitting 9 and are held therein. The parts 2 of the stalks machined at the ends by the roller 30 slide on the upper side of a wire 46 which bridges a gap between the table 36 and the scraper fitting 10 and supports the introduction of the stalks into this scraper fitting.

The wire 46 (or the wires) lies between parallel rows of the teeth of the upper strand of the scraper fitting 10. This scraper fitting 10 sits closer to the frame part 2 than the fitting 9, so that it only engages the cleaned stem ends b 2 of the leaves. A plate 45, which is essentially the same as plate 38, lies over the upper strand of the scratching fitting 10. As the sheets are conveyed sideways, the stems protruding from the scrapers 10 pass between the belts 50 and 51 (Figs. 1 and 5). These straps are so close together that they grasp the stalks tightly and pull them backwards; they are also of such width and speed that the stalks are fully withdrawn as the leaves pass by. The leaf flags are held back and more or less compressed against the wires of the scrapers. Belts 50 and 51 are supported on pulleys 52, S3 and other pulleys keyed to shafts 56 and 57 and are driven at equal speeds by gears and chain 58. The axes of the pulleys are substantially parallel to the edges of the scraper 10, so that the belts 50 and 51 run approximately at right angles to the path of the conveyors and the grip plane of the belts with the plane of the scraper and the conveyors substantially coincide. To ensure that the stalks enter the handle of straps 50 and 51 with greater certainty, the straps can be tilted slightly out of the rectangular position so that the front or left end of the handle is properly used to receive the most protruding stalks is mounted, but the other or right end sits closer to the scraper and the conveyor belt, ie the handle of the belt is inclined forward (Fig. 6). This inclination of the belts causes the stalks to be conveyed deeper into the mouth between the belts as they are moved sideways by the conveyor mechanism and scrapers 105 and 107 of the stripping mechanism, thereby ensuring the gripping of the stalks. At b 3 and b 4 = successive stages of the leaf plume compression are shown. With b 5 a petiole is referred to, which has entered between the belts; b 6 denotes a leaf stalk that has just been ejected. The straps can be made of a pliable fabric so that they can adapt to large and small stems. For the same reason, the discs 52 and S3 can be covered with a soft or resilient fabric S3 ', e.g. B. rubber, be occupied or consist of such a substance. The shaft 53 can be fixed and the shaft 52 can be provided at both ends with a device 55, by means of which an adjustable and flexible pressure is generated downwards. The shaft 56 is mounted in fixed bearings, not shown in the drawing, which can be adjusted forwards and backwards to tension the belt 51. The shaft 57, on the other hand, sits in brackets 59 of blocks 60, which are slidably mounted on oscillating parts 62. The parts 62 are rotatably mounted on the consoles 64 at 63. These consoles run upwards from the machine frame at s 4 and are provided with adjustable bolts 65, by means of which the movement of the tilting bearings 63 can be limited. A set screw 61 in a slot of the block 60 secures the block to the tilting bearing 62; another screw. 66 is able to push the slider 60 outwards and thereby tension the belt 50. Since the pivot 63 is over the belt 50, tension on the belt 50 causes the belt to be urged down against the belt 51. The adjustment of the screws 66, one of which is provided on each side of the belt, changes not only the tension but also the pressure of the belt 50 on the counter belt 51 go up at each end according to the thickness of the stalk.

A roller brush 70 is provided to support the stripping of the leaf vane. whose shaft 71 is mounted in arms 72. These arms sit on the consoles 64; the The brush is driven by a chain 73 which runs over a sprocket 74 of the shaft 56 runs, and turns in the direction of the arrow (Fig. s) - The brush sweeps (Fig. 1 and s) the leaves just in front of the plate 45 and there searches for leaf flags during the 12a Spread the scraping process from one another and facilitate the scraping process.

After leaving the stripping station, the leaf flags get under the belt 20, which presses it slightly against the belt 19, pulls it off the scraper belt 10, when it turns, the latter turns down, and then it comes out of the right end of the machine promoted out. The wires 46 can also detach the leaf flags from the Scratch 10 support in which the leaf flags usually be pulled in somewhat, and for this purpose the wires or wire 46 as shown in FIG. 1 follow right beyond the disk 13.
