Abstract
The detector has a heat sensitive sensor, and a mirror (1) collimating heat radiation falling from a monitoring room to the sensor. Reflecting arrays comprising reflectors are provided for monitoring the room in different positions, and the mirror discriminates between human and animal based on amplitude of sensor signal. An auxiliary part has an imaging optic with characteristics of reflectors that are covered on a side of the sensor.
