Electric gas cleaner with plate-shaped made of corrugated iron
Precipitation electrodes The invention relates to a particularly expedient embodiment
the known precipitation electrodes made of corrugated iron for electrical gas cleaning.
These have corrugated iron electrodes, especially if the gas is along the electrodes or
flows across their waves, proving to be very effective in precipitating the dust
proven, as the dust can easily settle in the wave troughs.
According to the invention are now in an electrical gas cleaning system
with plate-shaped precipitation electrodes made of corrugated iron, between which
the gas stream flows essentially in a straight line through the precipitation electrodes
formed by two corrugated sheets arranged essentially parallel to one another,
those with in the space between the two corrugated sheets protected from the gas flow
leading openings are provided. The two corrugated sheets of a precipitation electrode
lie with their wave crests opposite one another or close to one another, like this
that either approximately or completely tubular interiors arise in the
the separating dust can enter through the openings in the corrugated metal sheets. Such
Flat corrugated metal electrodes can easily replace the previous
Plate electrodes can be used. You have the great advantage that the in the
Dust that separates out of the wave troughs is removed continuously and without being whirled up,
so that such corrugated iron electrodes always have their full effectiveness.
In and of themselves, electrical precipitation electrodes are made of corrugated iron
have been proposed in which the dust settling on the electrodes through
Openings on these falls into a space protected from the gas flow. Also is
already known in mechanical gas cleaning, the gas to be cleaned between
to let flow through corrugated sheets parallel to each other. These corrugated sheets
are provided with passage openings. In this known arrangement, however, is the
Distance between the individual corrugated sheets so small that the gas flow between
the corrugated sheet is guided in wavy lines, while in the arrangement according to
present invention due to the much larger distance between two corrugated iron
existing precipitation electrodes performs a predominantly straight movement.
This difference has the effect that in the latter case the wave troughs of the corrugated sheet
serve as a trap for the dust that settles on the precipitation electrode
can,
while in the known arrangement of the gas flow and the recessed points on
Must coat corrugated iron.
Die Zeichnung zeigt zwei Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung. The drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the invention.
In Fig. R the new electrode is in section and in side view
shown. z and 2 are the two vertically arranged corrugated sheets, their grooves
run horizontally. The two corrugated sheets are spaced apart from one another, see above
that a space protected from the gas flow is created. The gas to be cleaned flows
vertically upwards on the outer surfaces of the two electrodes. At that of the gas flow
openings 3 are provided on the opposite sides of the wave troughs. With this arrangement
the dust will settle in the troughs of the waves. Has he reached a certain height
then it loosens and falls through the openings into the interior space between the
two corrugated sheets and from there without the gas flow being contaminated again
will, in the bunker room.
in senkrechter Richtung.
Elektrode. With the arrangement according to Fig. 2, the gas flows in a horizontal direction
along the corrugated iron electrodes. The grooves of the corrugated sheet run accordingly
in the vertical direction. The two corrugated sheets lie with their tips directly
against each other. This creates a number of tubular tubes that run vertically downwards
Inside rooms. The openings 4 on the corrugated sheets are here on the gas flow
facing side of the wave troughs attached. They are designed like a slot
and expediently turn their free passage opening to the gas flow. Which
precipitating dust is therefore caused by the gas flow itself into this opening
driven into it and then falls within the tubular interior into the bunker
down. The two corrugated sheets can be riveted to one another at the adjacent points
or welded. This creates a very stiff and resistant one
Electrode.
