Device for scraping off the conveyed goods. The scraping off of the conveyed goods
at any point on a steel conveyor belt prepared for sharp-edged, glass-hard
Conveyed very extraordinary difficulties, especially if these are the most diverse
Contains grain sizes, from coarse chunks down to dusty flour, mixed.
According to the invention, these difficulties are eliminated in that
behind a scraper wedge provided with steel wire bristles is a wire bristle scraper roller
acts, which runs in the opposite direction to the conveying direction and in its incline this
opposite can be changed.
In the drawing, for example, a particularly advantageous one is schematically shown
Embodiment of the invention shown. Fig. X shows the device seen from the side,
partly in section along the line x-x in Fig. 9-, the latter being a plan view
while Fig. 3 is a purely schematic section on a greatly reduced scale
represents through the device transversely to the conveying direction of the belt.
gesetzt.
The steel conveyor belt a, which can be endless or composed of individual plates, moves in the direction indicated by arrows and is guided in a known manner with the upper run on the frame b and with the lower run back in it (Fig. 3). In a frame c encompassing the conveyor belt in the shape of a saddle, which can be moved by means of the rollers d in the longitudinal direction of the belt in the manner of a dump truck on the frame b, a scraper w fitted with steel wire bristles and behind it a cylindrical steel wire brush f are arranged. This is set in rotation by the motor g via the transmission gear h through the chain i in a direction of rotation opposite to the conveying direction of the belt a at a corresponding speed. The wire bristle wedge e has an exchangeable tip k and is guided , for example, on the chain l or through the angle m. Instead, any other suitable device can be provided which allows the cutting edge k to be moved from the belt center line and thus to divide the oncoming flow of the conveyed material in the desired ratio and to feed it to the pockets n and o. Motor, gear and brush roller f can be jointly pivoted in such a way that the angle between the brush roller axis and conveying direction can be adjusted depending on the type of material to be conveyed. The scraping process takes place in such a way that the flow of the material to be conveyed arriving on the conveyor belt a is broken up by the wedge e provided with wire bristles into two equal parts or, if the wedge is inclined, into two unequal parts and diverted into pockets n and o. Finer material to be conveyed, which has still squeezed through between the wedge e and the conveyor belt a, is grasped by the roller brush f and fed to the pocket n. Behind the brush f, the conveyor belt has been cleaned of all conveyed goods. The brush wedge and brush roller are easily exchangeable.
