Replaceable cell drum seed separator The invention relates to

In addition, the externally protruding clamping devices brought in the operation of the drum

this storage arrangement of the drum also depends on the continuous worm shaft

Auslaufseite aufzusetzende Riemenscheibe gedacht.

The continuous drive shaft a with the screw conveyor b is on their. both ends supported in bearing blocks, one of which can be formed by the inlet housing p and the other by the outlet housing g in a manner known per se. The screw trough with a neck d encompassing the shaft a is passed through the inlet housing, on the end of which the handwheel c used to adjust the trough is located. On the trough neck d, with the interposition of a roller bearing, h there is a head piece, which also protrudes with a neck through the inlet funnel and is axially supported against its wall! the readout drum rotatable. The second head piece f located in the outlet housing g is fastened axially displaceably on the shaft by means of a tongue and groove and is axially supported on the shaft by means of a screw connection L with the interposition of a spring. The drum shell k containing the cell perforations is clamped between the two head pieces, which in the illustrated embodiment has a frustoconical shape and consists of two halves divided lengthwise. In order to be able to install and remove or replace the jacket, it is only necessary to loosen the screw connection L, after which the head piece f can be moved so far that the jacket can be pulled out of engagement with the head piece i. The two jacket halves can then be opened and also disengaged from the head piece /. The shaft ct is also mounted on roller bearings o on the outlet side. The roller bearings k and o are as. Adjustment bearings trained. The bearings are lubricated on the inlet side via the sliding channel g, the shaft bearing in the neck d and the one in the. Tubing r leading to the rolling bearing space, from which, for example, excess lubricant can flow out through the channel, while on the outlet side a lubrication channel installed in the shaft a; supplies the bearing points with lubricants. The reader is driven by a pulley to be placed on the drive shaft a on the outlet side. Appropriately, however, you can also use the clamped drum shell as a support and guide. Form the ring of one of the two head pieces f, i as a belt pulley to drive the cylinder, as is indicated in the ring it of the IIZ head piece.
