Procedure for starting stator-fed asynchronous motors The usual ones
Asynchronous motors are known to have a detrimental effect on the power factor of the network
and are therefore often provided with collectors, with the help of which a compensation
the phase shift is achieved. The collector brush is used for this purpose
a voltage of mains frequency and of such magnitude and phase that the
The current flowing into the rotor is the excitation current for the motor field. Such engines
are started via slip rings and the collector lamellas are built-in
Bridged resistors through which the working currents flow, so that the collector
is mainly used only with the excitation current for the motor. One has
Such motors also run without slip rings and they are purely collector shunt machines
operated by adjusting the phase of the brush voltage so that in addition to the
Phase compensation also a tour setting or regulation was achieved. That
Starting such motors was done in such a way that the collector brushes
applied voltage changed. The number of revolutions of the engine, which is based on the difference
of the voltage supplied to the stator and rotor can be adjusted by changing
this difference from standstill to the desired number of revolutions can be continuously regulated.
Of course, the collector brushes also carry the full working current. A disadvantage
however, this motor is the regulation of the voltage at the required for starting
Collector brushes and the associated accessories, apparatus and switches and
the transformer, the size of which corresponds approximately to the full motor power.
The invention now relates to a method for tempering a
stator-fed asynchronous motor with one serving to supply the excitation voltage
Collector, according to which in the multiphase fed by a transformer winding
Excitation circuit is switched on during operation, closed-circuit resistance.
Such a motor shows in operation the character of an ordinary compensated one
Asynchronous motor. Its idle speed is, apart from that, also when idle
the existing low bloat, also the synchronous number of revolutions. Just happens
here at start-up the gradual short-circuiting of the rotor winding not via slip ring brushes,
but via the collector brushes, and there is still in the short-circuit circuit
a special winding of the stator or an excitation transformer that supplies the excitation voltage.
When loaded, the engine works fully with a slip that increases with the load
like an ordinary asynchronous motor. The starting resistance also allows the
Set the size of the hatch and, if necessary, the number of revolutions of the engine
rules. A significant advantage of the device is the elimination of the slip rings
and
the resistors for the working current, which are arranged parallel to the collector lamellas.
Also the fact that the voltage supplied to the collector brushes is not regulated
needs to be, makes the expensive step switch to regulate this voltage
dispensable and conditional that the excitation transformer only for the proportionate
low excitation power of the motor is to be measured.
Parallel
The object of the invention will be explained in more detail using the exemplary embodiment in the figure. Here, NI means a three-phase induction motor, the stator S of which is connected to the mains and the rotor R of which is provided with a collector K on which three brushes B, B, B, offset from one another by 1200, slide. In parallel with the stator S, the primary winding P of the excitation transformer 7 - is connected to the mains, while the secondary winding Q is connected to the brushes B, B, B. The star point of Q is open, and the starting resistor A, which is regulated by the sliding contact H, is connected to the free phase ends. The engine is now started in such a way that the contact H. = is initially set in such a way that the entire resistance of the starter A in the rotor circuit is effective when the engine is switched on. The starter is gradually short-circuited and the motor then runs as a compensated asynchronous motor if the phase of the excitation voltage or the brush position is selected so that the current supplied by the transformer T represents the excitation current for the motor field.
