Description

Verfahren zum Vorführen von Reklame- oder sonstigen Inschriften oder Darstellungen mittels Kontakttypenträger, deren einzelne Kontakte in und außer Arbeitsstellung gebracht werden können. Zum Aufleuchtenlassen sogenannter Universal-Lichtreklamebuchstaben pflegt man die verschiedenen Zeichen, Buchstaben, Zahlen o. dgl. in Form von Kontakttypen an Kontaktfedern vorbeigehen zu lassen, wobei die Kontakttypen so mit Ausschnitten bzw. Ansätzen versehen sind, daß bei ihrem Vorbeistreichen an den Kontaktfedern ein Aufleuchten der zur Bildung des gewünschten Zeichens erforderlichen Lampen erfolgt. Die einzelnen Typen werden hierbei auf umlaufenden Trommeln angeordnet. Der Nachteil dieser Einrichtung liegt darin, daß zum Übergehen von einer Inschrift auf eine andere ein Stillsetzen der Vorrichtung und ein Auswechseln der Kontakttypen in den Trommeln erforderlich ist.Procedure for displaying advertising or other inscriptions, or Representations by means of contact type carriers, their individual contacts in and out of working position can be brought. Die Kontakttypen gemäß der Erfindung bestehen aus einem Träger, z. B. einem [J-Eisena o. dgl., durch dessen beide seitlichen Schenkel Stifte 1) hindurchgesteckt sind. Die Stifte tragen auf der Oberseite Köpfe c, und zwischen diesen Köpfen und dem oberen Schenkel des [-Eisens sind Federn d eingesetzt, welche die Stifte in der bei dein vierten, fünften, neunten, zehnten und zwölften Stift in Abb.3 gezeigten Lage halten. Die Aufwärtsbewegung der Stifte wird in beliebiger Weise, z. B. durch einen in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellten kleinen Anschlagstift oder eine ähnliche Einrichtung begrenzt. Sämtliche Stifte b sind mit je zwei Aussparungen e und f versehen, die ent\yecler ringsherum gehen können oder auch nur an einer Seite des Stiftes angeordnet , zu sein brauchen. In diese Aussparungen können Anschläge g einfassen, -welche an einer Schiene h befestigt sind. Die Schiene k selbst ist in beliebiger Weise in ihrer Längsrichtung --erschiebbar in der Type gelagert, eine Feder i. ist bestrebt, sie in Abb. 3 nach rechts zu ziehen, also so, (laß die Anschläge g sich gegen die zugehörigen Stifte i) legen. Bei der oberen Lage der Stifte fassen die Anschläge g hierbei in die unteren Aussparungen e der Stifte ein. Die obere Begrenzung dieser Aussparung e ist, -wie aus Abb. 3 ersichtlich ist, abgeschrägt. Drückt man demnach auf die Köpfe c der Stifte, so werden infolge der Abschrägung die Anschläge g aus den Aussparungen e herausgedrückt, und sie können in der niedergedrückten Lage der Stifte in die obere Aussparung f derselben einfassen, uni die Stifte in dieser Lage zu verriegeln. Die Träger a der Stifte sind in der beispielsweise aus Abb. .I ersichtlichen Weise an beiden Seiten an Ketten angeschlossen, die Ketten h «-erden in bereits vorgeschlagener Weise schrittweise vorgeschoben; die nach unten herausstehenden, also niedergedrückten Stifte b kommen hierbei in an sich bekannter Weise mit Kontaktfedern in Berührung und schließen die Stromkreise derjenigen Lampen, die den gewünschten Buchstaben oder das gewünschte Zeichen bilden. Man hat es demnach in der Hand, je nachdem, welchen der Stifte b nian niederdrückt, mittels derselben Type, die nicht ausgewechselt zu werden braucht, sondern fest mit den Ketten k verbunden. bleibt, verschiedene Buchstaben zu erzeugen. Soll beispielsweise der gerade unter der Trommel p stehende Stifthalter a so eingestellt werden, daß er beim Vorbeigehen an den Kontaktfedern einen Buchstaben X erzeugt, so wird die Trominelp so gedreht, daß auf ihr die dem Buchstaben X entsprechende Type q unten liegt. Alsdann schwenkt man die Trommel in ihrem Lager ia nach unten, die Schultern der betreffenden Typen q drücken alsdann die entsprechenden Stifte b nieder, während die in die Aussparungen der Type eintretenden Stifte ihre obere Lage beibehalten.
