Description
The invention relates to a method for determining the Direction of movement of an object.
Such a method is for example for determining known from the speed and direction of elevators. The speed is proportional to the rotation number, while the direction of movement using Win kelcoders and incremental encoders is determined, wel che two signals 90 ° out of phase with each other generate, the temporal succession of the Flanks of the two signals or their direction - posi tive edge, negative edge - a clear statement about the direction of rotation of the motor and thus about the loading Direction of movement of an elevator driven by it equips.
It is also a method of measuring relative ge speed between an optoelectric speed ditätsmeßgerät and a relatively movable Ob jekt known, in which a real picture of the moving Object using an optical system on a pho sensitive, optical grid arrangement projected with the help of a measurement signal with one to the measuring relative speed proportional Fre sequence is generated.
Such a method or one according to this method working speedometer are in the DE-OS 21 60 877 described. In the known device become the movements of a real image of an object tes measured by placing a Git in the image plane ter brings the light flow penetrating this grating collects on a photoreceiver and the frequency of one Alternating component of the photocurrent determined by the changing interaction of the image with the git structure arises. It is pointed out that the uses of such facilities due to the poor signal-to-noise ratio, be very are restricted. In the cited publication, in in this connection pointed out that this Man gel by using a grid in the form of a peri odic arrangement of flat surfaces prismatic or pyramidal type can be remedied because in in this case the light flux coming from the object in different directions on different photo receivers can be collected from their output signals Push-pull signals obtained with increased signal quality can be, from the frequency of the Bewegungsge speed is determined.
In another known from DE 32 29 343 A1 optoelectrically operating speed measuring device type described above also exists ability to determine the direction of movement of the object tes. Stripes or matrices are formed dete photoreceiver on a semiconductor substrate like this linked together that four comb-shaped one inside the other nested grids arise, creating a subtract on the in the first and third or in the second and four signals generated by the grid and where in the two resulting, phase-shifted to each other pushed signals to detect the direction of the movement be compared directly with each other. It has shown that this type of direction detection based on the principle of the directional notes discussed at the beginning based on the incremental output signals based and the like, with optoelectrically working Speedometers due to the stochastic Character of the signals generated by them not in reliable, correct detection of the Direction of movement allowed.
GB 2 024 467 A describes a method and a procedure direction for the production and processing of electrical Pulses that indicate the direction of rotation of a Detect pulse generator.
B. als optisches Gitter zur Ermittlung von Relativbewegungen über einer statistisch rauhen Oberfläche ausgebildet sein können, zur Erfassung die nen.DE 40 34 846 A1 describes a method for detection the movement of a vehicle over a surface as well known a motion detection device in which two twisted, one-dimensional Displacement sensors, e.g. B. as an optical grating for determination of relative movements over a statistically rough one Surface can be designed to capture the nen.
Das Vorwärtsbewegungsmuster bzw. das Rückwärtsbewegungsmuster werden weiterverarbeitet.DE 37 42 357 A1 discloses a method for determining measurement of the angular position and speed or rotary speed on a rotating body according to a coding pattern one attached to the rotating body and synchronized with this twisted coding device, Position signals consisting of n-phase square waves and sampling pulses are generated, which are at a pre agreed rotation angle interval occur. Responsive to the output of each strobe pulse will be the level of corresponding rotation angle position signals detected, a Variation pattern of a combination of the detected n levels is compared to a reference variation pattern and it is determined whether a Zu deviates from the norm has occurred or not. If the state of the Norm, it is determined whether the variation pattern a forward movement pattern or a backward move pattern. The forward movement pattern or the Backward movement patterns are processed further.
Bei dieser Einrich tung wird das reflektierte Licht auf die in Bewegungs richtung hintereinander oder versetzt hintereinander angeordneten optisch/elektrischen Wandler projiziert, die Ausgangssignale der optisch/elektrischen Wandler werden in Rechtecksignale umgewandelt, und es werden in einer logischen Phasenvergleichseinrichtung die Phasen der beiden Rechtecksignale miteinander verglichen und in Abhängigkeit davon, ob ein positive oder eine nega tive Phasenverschiebung vorliegt, binäre Signale abge geben, welche eine Anzeigeeinrichtung steuern.DE 26 39 226 A1 also describes a device for non-contact determination of the direction of a relative movement between this device and a reflec ting object known, the reflected Light different intensities depending on the location has at least two optical / electrical Has converter, in the phase comparison of the off output signals of these converters the direction of rotation of the relay active speed is determined. With this facility tion, the reflected light is on the moving Direction one behind the other or offset one behind the other projected optical / electrical converter projected, the output signals of the optical / electrical converters are converted into square wave signals and are converted into the phases of a logical phase comparison device of the two square wave signals compared with each other and depending on whether a positive or a negative tive phase shift is present, binary signals abge give which control a display device.
The Erfin is based on this state of the art based on the task of a procedure or a Ge speed measuring device with a photosensitive op table grid arrangement to improve that a reliable and accurate determination of the movement direction of a translationally movable object with as little technical effort as possible.
This task is the generic method according to the invention by the features of claim 1 solved.
It is a particular advantage of the method according to the Invention that in addition to a measurement of the Ge speed using a single optical or op toelectronic grid generates a direction signal can be what information about the direction of movement device of the moving object, for example Information about whether a vehicle with a Speedometer for performing the inventions is equipped according to the method, forward or drives backwards. Based on the stand the technology with 90 ° phase shift from each other Chen signals worked, but not immediately can be evaluated, as is the case with known Ta chogenerators and the like. is the case; rather, ge according to the invention in view of the fact that the Measuring signals in an optoelectric measuring method considered species despite the existence of a certain fundamental frequency are statistical signals that ent depending on the direction of movement of those occurring in a predetermined time interval Change the level of the two by 90 ° against each other shifted signals hit. This will according to the invention despite the presence of statistical Meßsi gnale, which is afflicted with all kinds of irregularities are a reliable way to identify the Direction of movement created.
In an embodiment of the invention, it has proven to be advantageous proven imprisonment if given above a speed lies every speed change of the direction signal is prevented, since at for example a vehicle whose speed is 50 km / h was determined, not within the period between two measurements, usually in the range of a few ms, its direction from forward to Reverse travel or vice versa may have changed.
The task is further achieved by speed measuring devices to carry out the method according to the invention with solved the features of claims 5 and 6.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind Gegen stand abhängiger Ansprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the invention are counter stood dependent claims.
Es zeigen:Further details and advantages of the invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to drawings tert. Show it:

Fig. 3 is a schematic representation of the electrical connection of the sensor elements of a semiconductor device according to a device for FIG. 2.
In particular, FIG. 1 shows a moving object 1, an optical system 2, and a photo-sensitive optical grating assembly 3. These three units are arranged at a distance from one another along an optical axis O, which is arranged perpendicular to the direction of movement of the object 1 indicated by an arrow B.
For the sake of clarity, the optical system is shown in FIG. 1 in the form of a simple lens 2 . The grid arrangement 3 comprises in FIG. 1, an optical grating 5, for example in the form of a line or prism grating, as well as on the side facing away from the object 1 back of this grating two photodiodes 4, 4 ', which two phase-shifted by 180 ° measurement signals on two output lines A1 and A2 deliver, these signals corresponding to the images of one or the other flank of the individual prismatic grating elements in a prism grating.
folgende Gleichung:
In the case of a measuring device with the structure shown in FIG. 1, the following equation applies to the main frequency component of the measuring signal:
f = Mv/g,
f = Mv / g,
wobei M = Abbildungsmaßstab; v = Relativgeschwindigkeit von Objekt und Meßgerät und g = Gitterkonstante.where M = image scale; v = relative speed of Object and measuring device and g = lattice constant.
In addition, if the size of the real image of the most frequently occurring object points of the object 1 is equal to the lattice constant g, there is a maximum value of the frequency component with the frequency f and thus a maximum value of the amplitude of the measurement signal as a whole.
Instead of an optical system or a lens 2 with a fixed focal length, a zoom lens is now preferably used, with the aid of which the imaging scale can be changed over a wide range, for example in a ratio of 1: 100, in order to measure the Relative speed to achieve an optimal adaptation to the structure of the surface of the object 1 , that is, to adapt the spatial wavelength, which corresponds to a certain size of object points, to the lattice constant. At the same time, devices can be provided to determine the imaging scale set on the zoom lens, so that the object speed v or the relative speed between the object and the speed measuring device can be calculated directly from the given equation for a given frequency f of the main frequency component of the measurement signal and with a known grating constant .
B erzeugen.In the measuring device of FIG. 2 of the drawing, instead of the grid arrangement 3 with the grid 5 and the two Photosen sensors 4, 4 'a lattice arrangement in the form of a semiconductor assembly member provided which has four sets of comb-like ineinan the cross strip-shaped sensor elements 6, 3 in the manner shown in detail in FIG. 3 are connected to output lines A1, A2 and B1, B2, which are connected in pairs to push-pull amplifiers 7 , which produce output signals A and B, respectively.
Due to the connection of the sensor elements 6 shown in FIG. 2, he will receive signals on the output lines A1 and A2, which are 180 ° out of phase with each other and from which a measuring signal A is obtained with the aid of a push-pull amplifier 7 , which practically only has the main wavelength component corresponding to the local wavelength with the frequency f and, by means of suitable evaluation devices 12 , which are not the subject of the present application and whose configuration is therefore not to be discussed in detail here, permits a reliable determination of the object speed v.
In a corresponding manner, the signals on the output lines B1, B2 are phase-shifted by 180 ° and are used, using a further push-pull amplifier 7, to generate a signal 8 which, due to the arrangement of the strip-shaped sensor elements 6 shown in FIG. 3, vis-à-vis the signal A is out of phase by 90 °.
According to the invention, the signals A and B are fed to a comparator 8 and compared in this with a reference pattern stored in a memory 9 in the form of a sequence of level changes extending over a given time interval. If this comparison leads to the required agreement between the two sequences of pe changes to be compared, the comparator delivers a corresponding direction signal to a memory circuit 10 , which delivers the valid direction signal at its output R at the measured speed. The memory circuit 10 can be designed such that it normally provides a certain direction signal, for example the direction signal for a forward movement, and only the opposite direction signal when it receives a corresponding signal from the output of the comparator 8 . With this design, it is sufficient if a corresponding sequence of level changes is stored only for this direction of movement, ie in the case under consideration for a backward movement.
In particular, in an advantageous embodiment of the invention, signals A and B are linked to one another over a predetermined time interval using a signal processor, in particular a microcomputer, using stored predetermined calculation rules. As a result of these calculation steps, the phase relationship between the two signals A and B is obtained. If this phase relationship remains the same over a time period that is preferably selected in accordance with the determined speed, a corresponding direction signal is output. In this embodiment, therefore, there is no specific storage of a typical sequence of level changes, as is possible with the aid of the memory circuit 10 , but instead the storage of predefined calculation rules or a predefined calculation program, with the aid of which the signal processor currently uses the phase relationship between the two signals A. and B determines with the result that the signal processor and the stored computing program replace the comparator 8 and the memory 9 according to FIG. 3, without thereby leaving the principle of comparing a typical sequence of level changes with a currently determined sequence of level changes. At the same time, the signal processor or the microcomputer can be used to generate periodic pulse sequences with a defined mutual phase position, which then enable the use of known evaluation devices such as are used for evaluating the phase-shifted signal sequences from incremental encoders and the like.
The memory circuit 10 , which can be, for example, a typical controllable latch circuit, is also connected to a blocking circuit 13 , which in turn is connected to an output of the evaluation devices 12 . The blocking circuit 13 blocks the memory circuit 10 against any change in its output signal indicating the determined direction as long as the object speed v determined by the evaluation devices 12 is above a predetermined limit speed, since in this case, that is to say, for example in the case of a fast-moving motor vehicle, not with one sudden change in direction is to be expected and consequently a corresponding direction signal should not be taken into account for reasons of plausibility, which comes into play when the very unlikely event of a match between the stored sequence of level changes and the currently determined sequence of level changes occurs, although a different one actually occurs Direction of movement is present. In addition, it is advantageous if storage devices are provided in which the information about the last determined direction of movement is stored permanently, so that the "old" directional information can initially be retained after the device has been switched off and then switched on again.
From the above description it is clear that according to the invention succeeds, in addition to the speed thereof Direction to capture safely, the required Circuits and components are commercially available components can, which are available relatively inexpensively.
