Description
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Schmiermittel
für Flaschentransportbänder, das eine Kombination
verschiedener Bestandteile aufweist sowie ein Verfahren zum
Schmieren von Flaschentransportbändern und die Verwendung
des Schmiermittels in der Lebensmittelindustrie, vor allem
im Bereich der Getränkeindustrie. In der Getränkeindustrie
werden flüssige Lebensmittel in Behälter abgefüllt. Bier,
Wein, Milch, Mineralwasser, Fruchtsäfte,
Erfrischungsgetränke oder Spirituosen werden bei der
industriellen Abfüllung im allgemeinen in die entsprechenden
Behälter, vor allem Glas- oder Kunststoffflaschen, Dosen,
Papier- oder Pappbehälter abgefüllt.
Bei der Abfüllung der Lebensmittel müssen die Gefäße an den
Abfüllort transportiert und von dort zu den
Verpackungsstationen gebracht werden. Die Gefäße werden
hierbei in der Regel mit Hilfe von Transportbändern,
insbesondere Flaschentransportbändern bewegt. Solche
Transportbänder können aus Edelstahl bestehen und werden mit
einem Kettengleitmittel, das auch Bandschmiermittel genannt
wird, geschmiert.
Aus dem Stand der Technik ist bekannt, daß als
Kettenschmiermittel Schmierseifen oder Schmiermittel auf
Basis von Aminen eingesetzt werden können.
Die DE-PS 36 31 953 beschreibt ein Verfahren zum Schmieren
und Reinigen von Flaschentransportbändern, wobei als
Schmiermittel ein mit Essigsäure neutralisiertes Gemisch aus
primären Fettaminen eingesetzt wird, das auch ethoxylierte
Fettalkohole, ethoxylierte Fettamine oder ethoxyliertes
Nonylphenol, Triethanolamin, Isopropanol und Wasser
enthalten kann.
Die DE-OS 39 05 548 betrifft ebenfalls Schmiermittel auf der
Basis von Aminen, wobei die Salze von sekundären und/oder
tertiären Aminen eingesetzt werden. In dieser
Literaturstelle wird bevorzugt als Anion der Amine das
Acetat verwendet. Der Einsatz von Ethercarbonsäuren wird in
dieser Literaturstelle nicht gelehrt.
In der US-PS 5,062,978 wird die Verwendung von Alkyldiaminen
und organischen Säuren in wäßrigen Schmiermittellösungen
offenbart. Nicht jedoch wird die Verwendung von
Ethercarbonsäuren erwähnt.
Die internationale Patentanmeldung WO 92/13050 offenbart
Schmiermittelzusammensetzungen, die Diaminacetat enthalten.
Außerdem können diese Zusammensetzungen einen Alkohol oder
auch ein nichtionisches, oberflächenaktives Mittel
(Ansprüche 1 und 2) umfassen. Auch in dieser Literaturstelle
wird die Verwendung von Ethercarbonsäuren nicht erwähnt.
Als nachteilig bei den aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten
Schmiermitteln hat sich unter anderem herausgestellt, daß
die Schmierwirkung in der Praxis oftmals nicht ausreichend
ist, daß die Reinigungswirkung im betrieblichen Einsatz
häufig Mängel aufweist, daß z. T. mit überhöhten
Konzentrationen an Schmiermitteln gearbeitet werden muß und
daß Gleitmittellösungen herkömmlichen Typs im Leitungs- und
Dosiersystem Ablagerungen verursachen können. Letztere
können zu Verstopfungen der in der Regel automatisch
arbeitenden Schmiervorrichtungen führen, was zur Folge hat,
daß der Betrieb der automatischen Flaschentransportanlagen
gestört wird. Dies tritt insbesondere nach Unterbrechungen
des Betriebes, vor allem nach Wochenenden auf.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, ein Schmiermittel
zur Verfügung zu stellen, das auch bei niedrigen
Einsatzkonzentrationen eine verbesserte Schmierung der
Transportbänder gewährleistet und durch verstärkte
Reinigungseffektivität einen längeren wartungsfreien Betrieb
ermöglicht.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Schmiermittel für Transportbänder
weisen eine Kombination verschiedener Komponenten auf, die
synergistisch zusammenwirken und bessere Betriebsergebnisse
ermöglichen.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Schmiermittel für
Flaschentransportbänder enthalten wenigstens ein Alkyldiamin
bzw. dessen Salz, das durch Umsetzung mit wenigstens einer
organischen Säure entsteht sowie gegebenenfalls nicht
umgesetzte organische Säuren und wenigstens eine
Ethercarbonsäure.
Die erfindungsgemäß eingesetzten Alkyldiamine weisen die
allgemeine Formel H₂n+₁Cn-NH-(CH₂)x-NHR auf, wobei n eine
Zahl zwischen 8 und 20 sein kann und x eine Zahl zwischen 1
und 5, bevorzugt 3, und R ein Wasserstoffatom oder ein
Alkylrest mit 1 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen ist. Im
Rahmen der vorliegenden Erfindung werden besonders bevorzugt
die Alkyldiamine Oleyl-1,3-diaminopropan oder Lauryl-1,3-
diaminopropan eingesetzt.
Bei den organischen Säuren handelt es sich bevorzugt um
Apfelsäure, Acrylsäure, Polyacrylsäure, Maleinsäure,
Methacrylsäure, Zitronensäure und besonders bevorzugt um
Milchsäure. Die organische Säure ist in einer bevorzugten
Ausführungsform nicht Essigsäure.
Die erfindungsgemäß eingesetzten Ethercarbonsäuren weisen
die allgemeine Formel H2n+1Cn-(O-C₂H₅)x-O-(CH₂)y-COOH auf,
wobei n eine Zahl zwischen 10 und 20, bevorzugt zwischen 12
und 18 und besonders bevorzugt zwischen 16 und 18 darstellt,
x eine Zahl zwischen 1 und 20, bevorzugt zwischen 5 und 15
und besonders bevorzugt zwischen 7 und 10 darstellt und,
wobei y eine Zahl zwischen 0 und 5, bevorzugt 1 darstellt.
Besonders bevorzugt wird die Alkyl(C₁₆-C₁₈)-
polyethylenglykolether (9 EO)-essigsäure eingesetzt.
In einer besonders bevorzugten Ausführungsform weisen die
erfindungsgemäßen Schmiermittel auch
Alkylpolyethylenglykolether auf. Bevorzugte Beispiele dieser
Verbindungen sind Alkyl(C₁₃)polyethylenglykolether mit
folgenden Ethoxylierungsgraden: 2-13 Mol EO, 10-16 Mol EO,
5-6 Mol EO, 12 Mol EO, insbesondere Alkyl(C₁₃)-
polyethylenglykolether (6 Mol EO), Alkyl(C₁₃)polyethylen
glykolether (12 Mol EO). In einer besonders bevorzugten
Ausführungsform weisen die erfindungsgemäßen Schmiermittel
mehrere Alkylpolyethylenglykolether auf.
Die Schmiermittel werden auf wäßriger Basis hergestellt,
d. h. die Schmiermittel enthalten etwa 60 bis 90 Gew.-%
Wasser.
Ein besonders bevorzugtes Schmiermittel weist folgende

Die erfindungsgemäße Schmiermittelzusammensetzung kann auch
Hilfs- und/oder Zusatzstoffe enthalten. In Betracht kommen
hierbei insbesondere Lösungsvermittler wie Alkohole,
Polyalkohole, Ether oder Polyether, insbesondere
Isopropanol, Butylglykol, Butyldiglykol oder
Ethylenglykolether. Die Menge des zu verwendenden
Lösungsvermittlers hängt im allgemeinen von dem eingesetzten
Amin ab.
Der pH-Wert der einsatzbereiten Schmiermittel liegt
bevorzugt zwischen etwa 6,5 und 7,0.
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist auch ein Verfahren
zum Schmieren von Flaschentransportbändern in
Getränkeabfüllbetrieben, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß
man die erfindungsgemäßen Schmiermittel zur Schmierung der
kettenförmigen Flaschentransportbänder verwendet sowie die
Verwendung der Schmiermittel als Kettenschmiermittel in der
Lebensmittelindustrie, insbesondere für automatische Ketten-
und Bandschmieranlagen.
Es wurde ein Schmiermittel der folgenden Zusammensetzung

Zur Herstellung des Schmiermittels wurden zu dem auf etwa
40°C erwärmten vorgelegten Wasser unter Rühren die
Milchsäure, das N-Oleyl-1,3-diaminopropan, das Lauryl-1,3-
diaminopropan und die Alkyl(C₁₆-C₁₈)-polyethylenglykolether
(9 EO)-essigsäure zugegeben und solange gerührt, bis eine
klare und homogene Lösung erhalten wurde. Anschließend
wurden die beiden Alkylpolyethylenglykolether (6 Mol EO/
12 Mol EO) zugegeben und weiter gerührt, bis eine
vollständige Homogenisierung erzielt wurde.
Das erhaltene Endprodukt ist eine gelblich-klare,
geruchsneutrale Lösung von Aminsalzen und nichtionischen
Tensiden mit einem pH-Wert von ca. 6,5-7,0.
Um nachzuweisen, daß das besonders bevorzugte Schmiermittel
gegenüber solchen Schmiermitteln überlegen ist, die mit
Essigsäure hergestellt wurden, wurde die folgende Rezeptur
analog Beispiel 1 hergestellt. Die Zusammensetzung enthielt
folgende Komponenten:

Eingesetzt wurden das Schmiermittel gemäß Beispiel 1 und
andererseits die oben beschriebene Rezeptur. Die beiden
Rezepturen wurden einem Praxistest bei einer
mittelständischen Privatbrauerei mit einer Abfülleistung von
45.000 Flaschen pro Stunde unterzogen. Abgefüllt wurden
dabei 0,5 l Euroflaschen, 0,33 l Aleflaschen sowie 0,5 l
Aleflaschen. Der Versuch wurde über einen Zeitraum von etwa
vier Wochen durchgeführt. Das Gleitmittel wurde mittels
Membrandosierpumpen in einer mengenproportionalen Dosierung
eingesetzt, wobei es zwei Dosierkreise, nämlich einmal
Auspacker/Waschmaschine und andererseits Waschmaschine/
Einpacker gab. Bei dem Vergleichsmittel traten speziell bei
der Abfüllung von Aleflaschen, insbesondere bei den 0,33 l
Aleflaschen Probleme auf. Betroffen war hiervon insbesondere
der Glidelinerbereich. Bei dem Glidelinerbereich handelt es
sich um einen schräggestellten Bandbereich, bei dem die
Flaschen durch Schwerkraft nach unten abgleiten, d. h.
auseinandergezogen bzw. vereinzelt werden und in Reihe der
Befüllung zugeführt werden.
Der sogenannte Glideliner dient in erster Linie dazu, beim
Flaschentransport umgefallene Flaschen aus dem
Transportprozeß herauszusortieren. Hier kann sehr deutlich
die Wirksamkeit eines Schmiermittelgemisches festgestellt
werden. Bei mangelnder Gleitwirkung fädeln sich die Flaschen
schlecht ein oder sie kippen beim Abdriften um. Dies führt
zum einen zu Verklemmungen bei der Vereinzelung sowie zu
einem erheblich erhöhten Flaschenauswurf am Glideliner. Die
unangenehmen Folgen sind eine hohe Flaschenbruchrate in
Verbindung mit Störungen, d. h. vor allem Zeitverzögerungen
beim Abfüllprozeß. Außerdem muß eine Person abgestellt
werden, die permanent die umgefallenen bzw. ausgeworfenen
Flaschen wieder in den Transportprozeß rückführt.
Um nun die oben geschilderte Problematik im
Glidelinerbereich zu beherrschen, mußte bei Einsatz der
Vergleichszusammensetzung die Dosierpumpe auf einen
Pumpenhub von 85 bis 90% eingestellt werden, das entspricht
einer Wirkstoffkonzentration von 0,4 bis 0,45%. Auch unter
diesen Bedingungen wurden im Stundendurchschnitt im
Glidelinerbereich ca. 250 umgefallene bzw. aussortierte
Flaschen gezählt. Dazu kamen, ebenfalls im
Stundendurchschnitt, ca. 6-8 Störungen durch Klemmungen im
Glidelinerauslauf.
Bei Einsatz des in Beispiel 1 beschriebenen Schmiermittels
konnte unter ansonsten gleichen Bedingungen der Hub der
Dosierpumpe auf 65% reduziert werden, was einer
Wirkstoffkonzentration von etwa 0,2% entspricht. Trotz des
reduzierten Einsatzes des Gleitmittels konnte die Anzahl der
aussortierten Flaschen im Glidelinerbereich im
Stundendurchschnitt um ca. 80% auf etwa 45-50 Flaschen
reduziert werden. Außerdem verminderte sich die Anzahl der
Ausfallzeiten durch Glidelinerauslaufklemmungen ebenfalls um
etwa 85% auf maximal 6-8 Störungen pro Tag.
Speziell das Anfahren der Flaschenabfüllungen nach
Wochenenden war mit dem Schmiermittel gemäß Beispiel 1
völlig problemlos durchführbar, während sich bei dem
Vergleichsprodukt erst nach ca. 2 bis 3 Stunden eine
befriedigende Flaschengleitung ergab.
Außerdem wurde bei dem Gleitmittel gemäß Beispiel 1 im
Gegensatz zu dem Vergleichsmittel ein verändertes
Schaumverhalten festgestellt. Die sich auf den Bändern
bildende mehr oder weniger dünne Schaumdecke war extrem
cremig und zeigte ein erheblich verbessertes
Reinigungsverhalten.
Zum Nachweis der überlegenen antibakteriellen Wirkung des
erfindungsgemäßen Schmiermittels wurde das Schmiermittel
gemäß Beispiel 1 mit einem anderen Gleitmittel verglichen,
bei dem Essigsäure anstelle der im erfindungsgemäßen
Schmiermittel bevorzugten Milchsäure eingesetzt wurde.
Die Vergleichsrezeptur enthielt folgende Zusammensetzung:

Bestimmt wurde die Wirkung der oben näher beschriebenen
Vergleichszusammensetzung und die Wirkung des Schmiermittels
gemäß Beispiel 1 auf Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442 im
quantitativen Suspensionsversuch gemäß DGHM-Richtlinien.
Zur Versuchsdurchführung wurde der Testkeim Pseudomonas
aeruginosa ATCC 15442 frisch angezüchtet und als Suspension
in WSH hergestellt. Als Prüfkonzentration wurde jeweils eine
0,25%ige Lösung der Gleitmittel in WSH gewählt und die
Einwirkdauer betrug jeweils 15, 30 und 60 Minuten bei
Raumtemperatur. Zur Versuchsdurchführung wurden 0,1 ml
P.aeruginosa-Suspension in WSH pro 9,9 ml Gleitmittellösung
eingesetzt und jeweils 15, 30 und 60 Minuten bei
Raumtemperatur einwirken gelassen. Nach Bebrütung für 48
Stunden bei 36° ± 1°C wurden folgende koloniebildende
Einheiten (KbE) ermittelt:
Die obigen Ergebnisse zeigen, daß die erfindungsgemäße
Kombination der Wirkstoffe eine deutlich verbesserte
mikrobiologische Wirksamkeit zeigt, die auf das
synergistische Zusammenwirken von Milchsäure und
Ethercarbonsäure mit den Aminkomponenten zurückzuführen ist.
Um den überraschenden, vorteilhaften, synergistischen Effekt
darzustellen, der durch das erfindungsgemäße Schmiermittel
erzielt werden kann, wurden zwei erfindungsgemäße Gleitmit
telrezepturen (Rezepturen A und B) getestet. Diese erfin
dungsgemäßen Gleitmittel weisen erfindungsgemäß verwendetes
Alkyldiamin, als organische Säure Milchsäure und eine
Ethercarbonsäure [Alkyl (C₁₆-C₁₈)-polyethylenglykolether (9
EO)-essigsäure] auf. Die Vergleichszusammensetzung
(Rezeptur C) weist keine Ethercarbonsäure auf und stimmt
ansonsten hinsichtlich der Komponenten mit der Rezeptur B
überein.
Bei dem Versuch wurden die folgenden Rezepturen eingesetzt:
(Die Zusammensetzung der Rezeptur D entspricht dem
Beispiel 9 der DE-OS 39 05 548. Sämtliche Rezepturen wurden
auf einem Technikum-Flaschentransportband getestet.)

Der Versuch wurde mit Hilfe des folgenden Versuchsaufbaues
durchgeführt. Mit einer Pumpe wurde die
Bandschmiermittellösung [0,3%ig in Hartwasser von 17 ± 1°dH
aus einem Vorratsbehälter über eine Düse auf ein
Flaschentransportband kontinuierlich aufgebracht. Das
Transportband wurde dabei mit einer Geschwindigkeit von
1 m/s bewegt und das Bandschmiermittel wurde über die Düse
mit einer Sprühleistung von 2,5 1/h aufgebracht. Auf das
Transportband wurden 5 Euroflaschen gestellt, die aufgrund
der Bewegung des Transportbandes auf einen mit Öl gefüllten
Kolbenprober drückten. Die Reibung zwischen dem
Flaschentransportband und den Flaschen hängt von der
Gleitwirkung der Bandschmiermittellösung ab. Je geringer die
Gleitwirkung ist, desto stärker drücken die Flaschen auf den
Kolbenprober und der Ölstand im Steigrohr steigt.
Mit destilliertem Wasser wurde der Kolbenprober bis zum
Anschlag zusammengedrückt und hierbei erreichte der Ölstand
eine Höhe von 150 cm. Versuche mit Leitungswasser ergaben
einen Ölstand von ca. 120 cm. Die Ölstände bei Versuchen mit
Bandschmiermittellösungen lagen in allen untersuchten Fällen
unterhalb von 105 cm. Nach einer anlagenbedingten Anlaufzeit
von 10 ± 2 min. erreichten die Ölstände ihr Minimum, das
über den beobachteten Zeitraum von 2 Stunden stabil blieb
(maximale Schwankung ± 1 cm). Die hierbei ermittelten
Ergebnisse werden in der nachfolgenden Tabelle 1
wiedergegeben:

Mit den erfindungsgemäßen Gleitmittellösungen (Rezepturen A
und B) ergaben sich deutlich niederigere Ölstände und somit
eine bessere Gleitwirkung als mit anderen
Gleitmittellösungen (Rezepturen C und D), insbesondere ein
Vergleich der Gleitwirkungen der Lösungen nach Rezeptur B
gegenüber derjenigen der Lösung nach Rezeptur C beweist den
Synergismus der eingesetzten organischen Säure, des
Alkyldiamins und der Ethercarbonsäure.
Claims (10)
1. Schmiermittel für Flaschentransportbänder auf wäßriger
Basis enthaltend wenigstens ein Alkyldiamin der allgemeinen
Formel H2n+1Cn-NH-(CH₂)x-NHR, wobei n eine Zahl zwischen 8
und 20 ist und x eine Zahl zwischen 1 und 5, und R ein
Wasserstoffatom oder ein Alkylrest mit 1 bis 20
Kohlenstoffatomen ist, das Salz des Alkyldiamins und einer
organischen Säure sowie gegebenenfalls eine organische Säure
und wenigstens eine Ethercarbonsäure der allgemeinen Formel
H2n+1Cn-(O-C₂H₅)x-O-(CH₂)y-COOH,worin n eine Zahl zwischen 10 und 20, x eine Zahl zwischen 1
und 20, und y eine Zahl zwischen 0 und 5 bedeutet.
2. Schmiermittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß bei dem Alkyldiamin x den Wert 3 annimmt.
3. Schmiermittel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß bei der Ethercarbonsäure n eine Zahl
zwischen 16 und 18, x eine Zahl zwischen 5 und 15 ist und y
1 bedeutet.
4. Schmiermittel nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch
gekennzeichnet, daß es sich bei der organischen Säure um
Apfelsäure, Acrylsäure, Polyacrylsäure, Maleinsäure,
Methacrylsäure, Zitronensäure und bei den Salzen der
organischen Säure um deren Salze handelt.
5. Schmiermittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß es sich bei der organischen Säure um Milchsäure und bei
den Salzen der organischen Säure um Lactat handelt.
6. Schmiermittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es außerdem wenigstens einen
Alkylpolyethylenglykolether enthält.
7. Schmiermittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zwei Alkyldiamine aufweist,
ausgewählt unter Oleyl-1,3-diaminopropan und Lauryl-1,3-
diaminopropan.
8. Schmiermittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es übliche Hilfs- und/oder
Zusatzstoffe und 60 bis 95 Gew.-% Wasser enthält.
9. Schmiermittel nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es
0,5 bis 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 bis 2% Ethercarbonsäure,
1,5 bis 10 Gew.-% organische Säure, die auch in der Form ihres Salzes vorliegen kann,
1-20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 3,5-10 Gew.-% Alkyldiamin,
0,5-6 Gew.-% Alkylpolyethylenglykolether enthält.
0,5 bis 5 Gew.-%, insbesondere 0,5 bis 2% Ethercarbonsäure,
1,5 bis 10 Gew.-% organische Säure, die auch in der Form ihres Salzes vorliegen kann,
1-20 Gew.-%, insbesondere 3,5-10 Gew.-% Alkyldiamin,
0,5-6 Gew.-% Alkylpolyethylenglykolether enthält.
10. Verfahren zum Schmieren von kettenförmigen
Flaschentransportbändern im Bereich der Getränkeindustrie,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man die Flaschentransportbänder
mit Schmiermitteln nach Ansprüchen 1 bis 9 schmiert.
