A ^ D ^ em ^ attached drawings represent mechanical Daire ^ intetscheidef # §icif in ififer Cor ^ stiuctiori essentially \ qn.> the best mechanical -dalren, with the known disadvantages here completely removed, and in addition to the relevant new advantages come to light. The previous principle of the louvre and gutter kilns, the hordes of which lie on one level, is abandoned here and the hordes are separated into two offset systems of narrow trough-shaped barrage surfaces. In this way, about 30 ρCt. Of kiln area is primarily gained compared to the base area of the kiln, while in the case of the kiln kilns, because of the necessary spacing between the kilns, there is a loss of kiln surface. Another advantage is that when turning the malt can never fall deeper than the next horde, which always occurs with the gutter kilns, also because of the spacing, and then due to the sharp increase in temperature on the lower hordes, there is partly so-called glass malt The upper troughs of the trays can be adjusted vertically by means of air regulation, which means that the temperature can be regulated as desired from tray to tray. In addition, this tray arrangement achieves good air circulation and better heat utilization, which cannot be achieved with gutter kilns, since the lower hordes of them not at all, and the upper hordes just by turning the gutters a little bit enable. This gives the malt layers an uneven thickness, and therefore the quality of the malt cannot be as uniform as is the case with the always identical layers of the new arrangement. As for the details of the construction, the simplicity and ease of use thereof can be seen from the drawings. The lower troughs of the trays can be rotated for emptying; this is done simultaneously by means of a lever and pull rod for one system each. The upper troughs are moved in the same way, and their vertical movement is converted into a rotating movement after the maximum height of 60 mm has been exceeded. For this purpose, thumbs a are attached to the axes, which turn the troughs when lifted by lugs on the pegs b, while the further necessary guidance is effected through the slot c and the roller d. The various positions of the tray can be clearly seen in the drawing. When the kiln is loaded, which is done by means of a specially constructed carriage, the uppermost tray I is completely closed, whereupon the upper troughs are raised as required to regulate the air. If the drying process has progressed accordingly and turning is necessary, the upper troughs are brought to their highest level, and then the lower troughs are turned, as indicated by tray position III. Then these are turned back a little and the upper hollows turned; To ensure that the hordes are loaded evenly, they are turned alternately to the right and left. Briefly, the advantages of this new arrangement are: 1. Erzeugung einer ganz gleichmäfsigen Qualität Malzes;1. Production of a very uniform quality of malt; 2. bedeutender Raumersparnifs und im Zusammenhäng damit2. Significant space savings and related in order to 3. Brennmaterial-Ersparnifs.3. Fuel savings. 4. Leicht verständlicher einfacher Handhabung bei solider Construction.4. Easier to understand simple handling with solid construction.
