Hochfeuerfeste Masse. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verbesserung an Ofenauskleidungen, Schmelztiegeln u. dgl. und besteht darin, daß die Auskleidungen oder andere Gegenstände, wie z. B. Schmelztiegel, die großer Hitze zu widerstehen haben, aus dein vulkanischen Produkt hergestellt «-erden, welches in Sandform in vulkanischer Asche in Java und in anderen Gegenden der Welt gefunden wird und welches hauptsächlich aus oxydiertem Titaneisen oder aus der Schlacke desselben besteht, welch letztere gewonnen wird bei Ausführung des Verfahrens zur unmittelbaren Erzeugung von raffiniertem Eisen oder Stahl aus oxydiertem Titaneisen, wie dieses Verfahren in dein Patent 338662 beschrieben ist.
