Bei dem üblichen Verfahren zum Fertigmachen künstlicher Seide in Strahnfoim werden die Strähnen gewöhnlich zuerst in gestreckter Lage vorgetrocknet, dann chemisch behandelt und hierauf ein zweites Mal getrockiiet, indem tnan sie auf Stäbe hängt und der Einwirkung eines schwachen Heißluftstromes unterwirft. Die Fäden behalten bei Ausführung dieses Verfahrens eine gewisse Starrheit und Geschlossenheit, die sie :während des Trockners unter Zug beim ersten Trockenprozeß erla_-igt haben. Sie besitzen infolgedessen Eiur eriiige Deckkraft, die erheblich geringer ist als die Deckkraft natürlicher Seide. Method for drying rayon in the form of a stream.
