Schreibwerk für. Torsionsindikatoren.
Writing for. Torsion indicators. The invention relates to
a writing mechanism for torsion indicators and concerns improvements to writing devices,
as described in patent 291117. According to patent 291117 this is
Torque by means of a writing lever on a writing drum lying transversely to the shaft,
which rotates once or twice with one revolution of the machine shaft, recorded.
In that case one obtains the maximum torque of one or two revolutions.
In addition, the records become indistinct as the pen writes the diagrams
writes on top of each other.
Abb. i stellt die
Gesamtanordnung des Schreibwerkes -auf der Welle dar. Abb. 2 ist eine Seitenansicht
der Abb. i. Abb. 3 ist eine Einzeldarstellung der Verkleidungsbleche. But in order to get a continuous diagram over a longer period of time,
what is particularly in the occurrence of torsional vibrations and the like. As well as for the investigation
the reversing and starting processes, especially with diesel engines, are desirable
is, yes may become necessary, is according to the invention in the following one
Writing device described and shown on the drawing, in which the
Torque written in a manner known per se on a running paper tape
will. It is thus achieved that the torques of any long operating times
can be registered continuously. The object of the invention is on the
Drawing illustrated in Figures 1 to 3, for example. Fig.i represents the
Overall arrangement of the writing mechanism -on the shaft. Fig. 2 is a side view
of fig. i. Fig. 3 is a single representation of the cladding panels.
The paper transport is caused by the fact that the ring gear i with
Is held in place with the aid of a clamping device and a stop. On the ring gear
i the gear wheel 2 unrolls when the shaft is running and sets with the help of the worm drive
3, 4. and the pair of spike wheels 5, 6, the writing drum 7 in operation. From the axis
the writing drum 7 is the take-up roll with the help of a resilient spiral cord
9 powered. The paper runs from the supply roll io over the writing roll
7 and is wound up by the roll 9 (dash-dotted arrow direction). When going backwards
the direction of movement of the paper must be reversed. To this end
will the. Spiral cord 8 removed from the drive wheel of the drum 9 and onto the drive shaft
placed on the drum io, which is exactly the same distance from the writing drum
like drum 9. In this case the paper runs in the dotted line
Direction of movement.
Drum 9 thus becomes a storage drum, drum
io to the paper winding drum. As the writing device with the torsion indicator
rotates, it must be arranged so that the paper tape as a result of centrifugal force
does not lift off the drum or wrinkles. This becomes through it
achieved that the winding drum and the supply drum 9 or io on one
larger diameter than the writing drum 7. This causes the paper as a result
centrifugal force always pulled tight at the writing point on the drum.
To prevent the paper from rotating due to the air resistance that occurs
is torn, the writing device is externally and laterally retractable through
Cladding panels ii supported. The writing unit is only open after the wave closes.
In consideration of the just described arrangement of the paper drums and the attached ones
Covering sheets must therefore be the writing lever i2 recording the torques -
as illustrated in the drawing - lie between the shaft and the writing unit, and
its tip must point radially outwards. When removing and putting on again
of the writing devices for the purpose of renewing the chart paper is the measuring sleeve

To get information on the diagram paper at the same time, the speed and
