Description
Device to avoid water loss in cisterns with Bell valve. The invention aims to prevent accidental water loss to be avoided in cisterns that are equipped with a bell valve and that are closed after emptying Refill independently under the action of a float. In fact it is not to completely avoid that the bell valve becomes leaky and the pressure of the The float on the inlet valve is insufficient and therefore increases over time permanent water loss occurs, which is extraordinary under today's conditions runs into the money. Removal requires repairs, which are also costly and have to be done over and over again.
The invention consists in providing devices which allow ea interrupt or suspend refilling of the box at will. In The drawing shows exemplary embodiments of the invention. Fig. I shows in view of a first embodiment and Fig. a in view and partial section a second embodiment, to which the Fig.3 and q. Explain individual parts.
According to Fig. I, a second chain hoist - next to the usual chain hoist i is provided, which is guided over rollers that it grips with a hook 3 under the float and holds it up in the pulled position. In this position the handle of the chain hoist is at q. made detectable. If you want, a spring 5 can be provided on the hook 3, which pulls it down so that when this train is not used, the swimmer is not inhibited by its frictional resistance. The use is as follows: If you want to avoid any loss of water, you set the chain hoist 2 at 4 and thus the float in its highest position, in which it blocks the access from the water drainage, before using the flush. If the chain hoist i is then pulled, emptying takes place without the float sinking and no fresh water enters, so that no water loss can occur. If the filling is needed again, the chain hoist 2 must first be released from the locking device 4 so that the float sinks and the filling is possible. It can be found again at 4 shortly before or after the next emptying, if there is further reason to avoid water loss. Of course, the device need not be used as long as the valves really close tightly.
The second embodiment avoids a special chain hoist and consists in that the ordinary chain i are locked in the pulled position can by a spring is connected to the float lever, which when pulled Lever holds the float up and shuts off the inlet valve more safely than the Otherwise swimmer would do it alone.
The lever As usual, 7 engages the bell through pin 9. The spring 6 is designed so that it lies over the pin 9 and with its bent end under the lever 7. As a result, the spring 6 is forced to rotate the lever in the sense of To participate clockwise. Your free leg ends, which under the float arm io grab, therefore hold it up when the lever 7 is pulled.
The chain i ends with a locking spring ii with a nose 12 and pusher 13 in a sleeve 14 which is placed so that the nose 12 and the pusher 13 as a result the suspension step out of the corresponding openings in the sleeve. The connector 15 between chain i and sleeve 14 has screw threads and runs smoothly in a closing plug 16 to prevent the chain from stretching or the valve seal giving way or in the case of other changes in the release device which influence the setting of the valves to adjust the sleeve so that the nose 12 through at the right time the opening in the sleeve occurs. The sleeve passes through the usual guide eye 17 for the chain hoist, in such a way that in the pulled position the nose 12 lies under the eye, blocking it. From this position you can press the Button 13 triggering again.
It is used here in such a way that with the usual pull on the chain the nose 12 holds the chain in the pulled position by itself and thereby holds up the float and blocks any flow of water. Press before using again you press button 13, after which the refilling occurs.
With the invention you also have it in your hand, whole as needed or to use only partial fillings of the box for rinsing. In the latter case when using the first embodiment, the chain hoist is set: z already then 4. fixed when the cistern is only partially full, while when using the second embodiment, the device by pressing the button 13 only briefly triggers before the time you want to use the flush. You can get through it like that Appropriate use of small fillings is a considerable waste of water avoid things that could not be avoided until now.
