Verfahren zum Einstellen einer Kanone auf verschiedene Typen von Munition unter Berücksichtigung der für die Typen ermittelten Schußtafeln, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die den Schußtafeln der Typen entsprechenden Einstellwerte in einem Speicher digitalisiert gespeichert werden, daß bei der Zuführung einer Munition an dieser eine ihrem Typ entsprechend angebrachte Kennung mittels eines Sensors abgetastet wird und ein digitaler Kennzeichnungswert in einer Auswerteschaltung ermittelt wird, daß durch einen Vergleicher die dem Kennzeichnungswert zugeordneten Einstellwerte der betreffenden Schußtafel aus dem Speicher abgerufen werden und daß die Einstellwerte angezeigt werden und/oder über eine Stelleinrichtung die Kanone einstellen.1.
