Die Vorrichtung wird nun mittels eines Handgriffes u auf die Welle v aufgesetzt und sodann in achsialer Richtung so weit verschoben, bis die vorher genau eingestellte Körnerspitze w des Umlaufmessers angestellt ist. Der Handgriff u könnte auch inVerbindung mit der Schraubeq auf der Platte p angebracht sein. Der Arm o kann nach Lösen der Schraube q um 9o° gedreht und wieder festgestellt werden, so daß nun das Meßinstrument auch als Schnittgeschwindigkeitsmesser verwendet und gegen den Umfang der Welle v angestellt werden kann.The measuring instrument a is held by a capsule n, which in any way encompasses the instrument according to its outlines.
