Da dabei die Kugeln leicht ungleiche Abstände einnehmen, hat man sie auch in Kugelhaltern
(Käfigen) gelagert, die biegsam, z. B. durch Gelenke zwischen je zwei Kugeln verbunden
sein mußten, um mit den Kugeln durch die verwickelten Wege der Rückführungsleitungen
gehen zu können. Dadurch treten jedoch leicht Störungen auf. Man hat auch schon
die Kugeln. so eingelegt, daß sie halb in der Spindel und halb in der Mutter liegen
und in den Löchern eines zwischen Spindel und Mutter eingesetzten, die Spindel umgebenden
Zylinders geführt werden. Diese Anordnung hat den großen Nachteil, daß der Achsialdruck
