Description

Film on the episcopal projection. The episcopal projection photographic and cinematographic images in particular are gaining more and more importance in recent times Interest. Image tapes used for this purpose have hitherto been used as a carrier for the photographic one Layer either betall, especially aluminum foils, or paper strips that were provided with a silver mirror. Both embodiments show significant .Disadvantage. The metal foil lacks that for the jerky demonstration for cinematographic Purposes necessary flexibility and does not show a very high reflectivity for the light; this is even possible when using metals that allow a high gloss lost due to exposure to chemicals (developer, etc.). Paper pad with a mirror coating is not possible because of the poor water resistance of the paper usable, but even in the dry "state it does not meet the mechanical requirements, which the cinematographic demonstration apparatus with its heavy use makes. Furthermore, the mirror is also exposed to the action of the developer and runs at the same time and then absorbs most of the light falling on it.

All of these drawbacks are avoided, and it becomes a tremendous one cheap pad created by one essentially made of cellulose ethers or -ester existing support for the photographic layer in which finest metal powder (so-called bronze color) is embedded, which is one example achieved in that one in a dissolution of nitrocellulose or acetyl cellulose and the usual admixtures of bronze powder and this solution on one pours into a film on a flat surface. The films obtained in this way show by the Presence of the lacquer layer of the highest gloss and a smooth glass surface embedded metal tinsel and still have an extremely high reflectivity same smoothness as that used for ordinary cinematographic purposes used films. Furthermore, the storage of the metal in the for aqueous Liquids impermeable plastic masses protect the metal from oxidation and tarnishing -etc. due to exposure to developer, air, etc. The reflectivity of the film is completely sufficient if the content of metal powder is so low that the film still appears transparent to the naked eye; it continued to come under savings of bronze powder when the opposite of the photographic layer Color the page dark or make it opaque or the Movie in this way on an opaque surface. ' Of course you can the filrn. also, -> v @ un no value is placed on high flexibility, on a metal band be drawn up or the film in the manner described above immediately on a Bands made of metal or other material are created.
