hat der vorliegende Verschluß den Vorteil, daß der Klemmhebel nur aus einem laschenartigen
Stück Blech hergestellt ist, das an dem einen Ende zwei zu einer Art Ose gegeneinander
umgebogene Zungen zum Durchstecken der beiden Stahlbandenden trägt und am anderen
Ende eine die eine Hälfte der Verschlußsicherung bildende, quer zur Bandrichtung
stehende
Zunge besitzt, die nach der Rückseite des Bleches herumgebogen ist, während die
andere Hälfte der Verschlußsicherung durch eine ebenfalls quer zur Bandrichtung
verschiebbare Gegenzunge gebildet wird, so daß nach Einführung der Bandenden in
die von den 'i Zungen gebildete Öse und Umlegen des Klemmhebels zwischen die beiden
auseinandergezogenen Zungen das eine Band eingeführt und durch Zusammenziehen der
nötigenfalls noch zu blombierenden Zungen der ganze Hebel in der Schlußstellung
gesichert werden kann. Der neue Hebel ist also in der Fabrikation unerreicht einfach,
weil er nur aus einem einzigen Stück Blech besteht, ohne irgenwelche Bolzen, Zähne
u. dgl. Diese Einfachheit bedingt auch, daß der Hebel mit einem einzigen Druck durch
Stanzen u. dgl. hergestellt werden kann. Auch kann der Verschluß niemals durch Zerren
am Band u. dgl. ungewollt geöffnet werden, weil ein Verschieben des Verschlusses

Der Verschluß besteht aus einer als Klemm-und Spannhebel dienenden
Lasche i, welche an dem einen. Ende ansteigende Leisten 2 mit seitlich anschließenden
Zungen 3 besitzt, die zu einer Öse nach innen umgebogen sind. Nahe dem anderen Ende
ist auf der einen Seite der Lasche i ebenfalls eine Zunge 4 vorgesehen, welche mit
dem Ende 5 unter die Lasche i gebogen ist. 6 ist eine Bohrung in der Zunge 4. Mit
7 ist ein in der Lasche i befestigter Führungsbolzen bezeichnet, welcher durch den
Schlitz 8 einer zur Zunge 5 gehörigen, jedoch quer zur Bandrichtung verschiebbaren,
hakenartig nach unten gebogenen Gegenzunge 9, io gesteckt ist. Beide Zungen bilden
mit ihren nach unten gebogenen und gegenüberstehenden Enden 5 und to ebenfalls eine

Der Verschluß wird nun wie folgt angewendet Zunächst wird das Stahlbandende
ii und alsdann von der anderen Seite das Ende z2 darunter durch die Öse 3 gezogen,
wie Abb. 2 zeigt. Alsdann werden die Enden bei hochstehendem Verschlußhebel, wie
ebenfalls Abb. 2 zeigt, mit der Hand so fest wie möglich um die Kiste 13 gezogen.
Durch Umlegen des Verschlußhebels nach rechts (s. Abb. 3), wirkt derselbe, wie in
der Einleitung gesagt, klemmhebelartig und zieht das Band noch fester um die Kiste.
In der niedergelegten Stellung des Verscblußhebels kann das Bandende ii zwischen
die beiden hakenartigen Enden 5 und io der Zungen 4 und 9 gesteckt werden. Durch
Einwärtsschieben der Zunge 9, io ist dann der Verschlußhebel gegen Hochklappen gesichert,
weil die Zungenenden 5 und io um das Band fassen. Eine durch den Schlitz 8 und die
Bohrung 6 gezogene Plombe 14 sichert den Verschluß gegen betrügerisches Öffnen.The closure is now applied as follows. First, the end of the steel band is used
