Abstract

In such an apparatus, the stimulation pulses that are to be fed to the patient can be variably set with respect to their frequency, amplitude, width, shape, off periods and number per pulse train, by arranging that the pulses generated by a frequency generator can be influenced and varied by electrical control circuits connected upstream and downstream. In order to be able to set a substantially increased number of pulse trains for the purpose of optimum treatment with the aid of a single apparatus, the test apparatus is equipped with a plurality of frequency oscillators. In this case, the pulses generated by at least two frequency oscillators can be mixed without feedback after being optionally influenced by the control circuits mentioned, and appear as mixed pulses at the output of the apparatus.
