Abstract

A clutch operation has a control cylinder, the pressure chamber of which can be connected to an accumulator by the triggering of a solenoid valve and the working chamber of which has a connection to a clutch slave cylinder. The solenoid valve is controlled by an electronic control unit. In addition, the control cylinder may be connected to a clutch master cylinder, which can be operated by means of a clutch pedal. A sensor ensures that when the clutch master cylinder is operated the control piston remains in the neutral position.
