Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel process for covering steel pipes, which operates without film-covering or tube-covering. The three-layer covering (thermoset/adhesive/thermoplastic) is applied only by sintering, that is to say spraying, and spinning respectively, onto the preheated steel pipe, in succession in one operation. For carrying out the proposed process, a new device has been developed, the coating system of which consists of a spray-coating device and a spin-coating device. <IMAGE>
