Description

Personal cleansing products don't just have to have good cleansing and foam properties, but must also have little or no irritant effect to the skin and eyes.

Synthetische Detergentien bzw. Davon weisen hinsichtlich der Schaumeigenschaften, der Reinigungswirkung und des übrigen Ergebnisses die'Synthetic detergents or surfactants that are beneficial in such cleaning agents are ■ known. These are, for example, anionic, cationic, amphoteric and nonionic surface-active Substances, as they are commonly called. With regard to the foam properties, the Cleaning effect and the rest of the result the '

That is why most of them contain detergents for personal care, anionic surface-active substances as an active ingredient.

However, these substances tend to be used in the usual concentrations, i.e. in an amount of more than 10 % By weight of the total cleaning agent, very severe irritation to the skin and eyes. That's why personal cleansing agents that contain anionic surface-active substances are modified as a result, that they use a significant amount of nonionic surfactants, which "are generally milder, but a poorer one Have foaming and cleaning effects. Certain amphoteric surfactants were also used reports that they are slightly irritating to the eyes. Although there are numerous cleaning products on the market are available, there is still a need for such agents to reduce the irritant effect is essentially eliminated without other desirable properties, such as cleaning and foam properties, to affect.

Mixtures are known in which both amphoteric and nonionic surface-active substances r, · are present in cleaning agents that contain anionic surface-active substances. The U.S. PSs 2 999 069 and 3 055 836 describe shampoos that contain certain mixtures with ethoxylated anionic, amphoteric and polyethoxylated nonionic surfactants. U.S. Patent 3,928,251 Shampoos stated that are a mixture of anionic, nonionic and zwitterionic surfactants Include fabrics. U.S. Patent 3,950,417 mentions shampoos with low eye irritation. In In these compositions, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants are intended to to modify anionic surfactants. All of these agents contain a nonionic surfactant as a necessary component . and also an anionic surfactant with the aforementioned disadvantages.

The invention is based on the object of specifying an improved cleaning agent. In particular the cleaning agent should have a minimal irritant effect on the eyes and skin. Furthermore, there are good foaming properties, including very good foam stability, desirable for the cleaning agent.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a cleaning agent dissolved, which contains a synergistic mixture of surfactants. In particular it is a mixture of a special amphoteric fatty acid complex with a special one anionic surfactant with at least one carboxylic acid group.

The cleaning agents according to the invention ensure a large volume of foam and, moreover, a exceptional foam stability, such as a modification of the well-known Ross Miles foam test (Oil and Soap, 18.9-102 (1941)) fesf.qorihell.t, which is given below.

Anhydrous lanolin in a form suitable for cosmetic use is mixed with technical grade dioxane mixed (ratio of 2.5 g lanolin: 100 g dioxane). The lanolin is first mixed with 25 ml of dioxane mixed. This mixture is heated in a steam bath to a temperature of 45 ° C to produce the lanolin to dissolve in the dioxane. The remaining dioxane is then mixed in IQ. The obtained solution of lanolin, dJ.u is kept in a brown bottle freshly prepared on the same day the test is performed.

The mixture to be tested is made by adding 376 ml of dist. Water diluted to 4 g of the mixture and then mixed with 20 ml of the aforementioned lanolin-dioxane solution while stirring. During this last-mentioned addition, heat is developed, and the solution must be set to a temperature of from 24 to 25 ° C. with care. Therefore, the two solutions should be adjusted to a temperature of 23 ° C before they are mixed together. The cooling of the lanolin-dioxane solution should take place gradually in order to avoid precipitation of the lanolin. Finally, a solution with a temperature of 2.4 to 25 ° C is obtained.

This solution of the mixture to be tested, water, dioxane and lanolin is then in the usual way in given a modified Ross Miles foam column. All examinations are performed in duplicate and the two results are averaged. The foam stability is expressed as a percentage of the original with the help of the decrease in foam height after 2 minutes Height, for sure.

It can be seen from this that the cleaning agents which contain a mixture of a special amphoteric fatty acid complex and an anionic surfactant according to the invention (Examples 6 to 9) have a synergistic increase in the foam height. It can also be found that the foam quality is better in the cleaning agents according to the invention; this foam is thicker and creamier than that of the other detergents. A foam of this better quality is not only more attractive to the consumer, but can also carry and suspend dirt particles better than 1 of the more open, perforated foam according to Examples 1 to 4. Therefore, the foam of the cleaning agents according to the invention favors the removal of dirt.
